I just recorded my weight and I'm in the 140's now. I'll be going back out of town later today and will probably be gone for two weeks this time so I can't forget my scale again. I might have to purchase a second scale for my out of town home if I forget again.

Big mid- Your treadmill sounds like so much fun. What brand is it? I think I'll be taking a rest day soon too. It will probably be Saturday and Sunday.

retiredone- I've had the Special K crackers but it has been a while. I'm afraid to buy things like that because I'll be tempted to eat more than I want to.
I wish it was chilly where I live but it is getting really hot and humid in the 90's. Good luck with your weigh-in on Sunday. I'm sure you will see a good loss.

ak812- Great to hear that you didn't have a weight gain. Let us know how you did the rest of the week.

rainydays- I know it must be hard to fit in exercise with a busy work schedule. It sounds like you are doing great with your plan and maybe this week just happens to be a busy week.

qtapostolic- You're making me want to get a haircut and go out shopping for clothes. My hair is pretty long so it is time for a trim or a shorter cut. I plan to shop for clothes a little later when I've lost more weight but I am noticing my clothes are getting looser and baggier. I'm also getting comments from people that I look like I've lost weight.

Eliza you should do it! a nice hair cut and at least one new outfit, it'll make you feel so good! Plus, while I was wearing my old baggy clothes, I was getting too comfortable sneaking extra bites, and fooling myself into thinking I was still ok--fitting clothes gave me the encouragement and the reminder to keep going
Bigmid yesterday was my "rest" day. sometimes our bodies need rest just as much, if not more than an exercise day
Let's have a great Weekend and Weigh in Bluesers!

Happy start to the long weekend, wonderful Blue Team!!

I have the day off today, kind of by accident. My boss didn't realize my requested time off paperwork only said 3-6pm today & thought it was the whole day off so I'm taking her up on it! I have lots to do before I fly out tonight. Dishes, vacuuming, laundry, packing, cleaning kitchen, etc. I was up before 6 this morning & so excited I couldn't go back to sleep!

I've done well the past couple of days with teacher appreciation snacks. Only 1/4 piece of coffee cake on Wednesday and yesterday a piece of banana bread. Knowing that weigh-in was coming up really helped me stay strong! I love this challenge, and all of you for being such a great support system.

Kelly - I know exactly what you mean! It's so easy to just shove a treat in my mouth almost before I even realize I'm doing it. The 'eat it later' trick has been a huge help though. And I also have been patting myself on the back because in the past there's NO WAY I would have stopped at a single donut or 1/2 a muffin as a treat on these days. Hope you're still beating that heat!

Isabella - Glad you are getting some reprieve from the heat! Congrats on the scale going down - you're working so hard, the indulgences of last weekend will be gone in no time.

Bigmid - Take that rest day! Achy legs are no fun during workouts. Maybe try something easy on the legs, like a short yoga workout or just some stretching? Good luck!

Eliza31 - Congrats on getting into the 140s! Hope you are having a nice time visiting the out of town home. You're clearly doing a great job of taking care of yourself even while away! Good for you. I also agree with Kelly that you should get that haircut a couple of new outfits - you deserve it and will feel so great!

Finish the week strong, ladies!

ak812 & Eliza, we don't have really hot summers and I love the warm weather. While you guys are sweltering in the heat this summer our weather will be warm for the most part but not horribly hot. We will get a few days and when we do we aren't used to it. Ha, ha. My sister says the humidity is the only way we get hot. We have a long winter, though.

Kelly, you'll have to post a picture of your new hair do. My hair is getting really long (especially for a woman of my mature years ) and I'll soon be getting a trim myself.

Bigmid, we're just the opposite for exercising. I'd rather do it in the morning because I'm usually too tired after supper. I'm a bit tired today and have delayed getting on my bike so I have to do that before I realize it's not done and I'm in bed.

Have a good holiday weekend all you American gals and stick to the fruit tray.

wow, Saturday already! I'm excited to see what the scale says tomorrow though, it's been a great week here.
Isabella here in Northern MI, we don't usually have this much heat in May, we're enjoying it, for the most part I will be eating a lot of strawberries and watermelon this weekend... fruit fruit fruit and turkey hotdogs. We'll be having a cook out for our church group tomorrow and then again on Monday, probly at my Mom's out on Lake Michigan. It will be the first Memorial day that I don't down a whole container of potatoe salad,
ak you did great w/appreciation week! good for you!

Go Blue Team!

Eliza31- Congrats on the 140s!

ak812- Ah! Nothing like some unexpected free time from the workplace!

I saw 195 today. A low! I did one workout via the internet at the beginning of this week and was sore for three days! Ouch...always remember to stretch! Got to go to one Zumba class since my son had tball practice the rest of the days. This is his first year and he is doing so well, so it's worth it!

Hi Bluesers !

I need to apologize to all of you up front for being so absent... bad team leader bad bad ! It's been a hectic and pretty not fun week actually. Our best friends lost both of their cats within 24 hours of each other and have been pretty devastated... on top of that they moved into their first house during the week so it's been a whirlwind for them. I've been spending most of my free time with them helping out anyway possible. School has been busy too... but that's a fun busy for me. We also have a mentally unstable next door neighbor who, for some odd reason, has decided I am the enemy and has been doing and saying odd things. She showed up on my doorstep yesterday morning and I had to call the Police. Two very nice Officers came and escorted her off my property. On top of that my husband hasn't been home for the past 5 days as he had a job interview on the East coast so I've had to deal with this on my own. The stress eating hasn't been pretty this week I'm afraid. I will take a freebie so as not to hurt our numbers this week and hopefully things will settle down next week. Hopefully today will be a much better day... I'm going out for lunch with a very good friend then we're going on a hike with the dogs.

Hope everyone had a great week and looking forward to another great one.

Hi everyone,
Well WI was bad, I felt good the first half of the week then started to feel bloated and like I was gaining (despite eating healthy and 6 workout days this week). Well no gan but no loss. You think that would be okay, but I really let this affect me all the time, so this morning was tears and thinking about giving up again. Stupid emotions.
I'm at the point though i really don't know what to do to loss anymore. I'm the same as start weight and it's been 5 weeks since then.
Anyway im sure some may come off again if I keep going. This gets tougher each time you try to lose.

Eliza31 - it's a Nordictrack 2150 commercial (2012) it is pretty awesome, yesterday I was walking in Cabo San Lucas it was a 3.26 mile walk that took me to 4.5 incline. Took me 48 min and 536 calories gone

qtapostolic, ak812 - I don't think I ever took that rest day but on 2 of the days I just did a short 20 incline walk then did BL fat loss yoga after 1 and hula hooping after the other. Not any calories gone those days but I think it's what I needed.

retireddone - I wish I could do mornings just so I was done but I jus don't have the full stamina to do it. If I do a DVD I'm okay but not the treadmill.

Well enough from me. Keep up the great work everyone.

Sorry no time to do full personals right now. Thinking of all of you though.

Hi ladies. Ive been super busy between work and organising/ cooking for my mums 70th birthday yesterday. All of my brothers, sisters, neices, nephews and great neices and nephews went to my brothers in Wilsons Promontory for the weekend, a very beautiful part of the world.

It was a great weekend. Been too long since we have all been together, mum absolutely loved it. The only problem of course was the amount of food my sister and i made (and ate). nearly back to starting weight

Most of you had a better weigh in so congrats to all
