ars - way to go on your commitment! Chinese is a serious trigger food of mine too. Hope it doesn't become a bigger deal & that you can put up with your silly work mates.

I have had ANOTHER good day. That's TWO in a row... I am aiming for 25 days in a row of NO CHEATS and am going to tell myself every morning "today is day X of 25 of nooooo cheating!"

I am very tired from working so hard and have a lot going on. It is difficult to be sensible during my 'spare time' because I feel like I really deserve to gorge on food and drink - but I have to tell myself that what I actually deserve for working so hard is a slim and slender body!!!

Hi everyone
Congratulations to Gracie789 for being the Biggest Loser this week
Also, to bigmid, khrungy, and Avezy for being the runner ups.

I have to admit that I have really been struggling lately. I just can't seem to get a routine going again. I've found since my children have been out of school it's been hard for me to stay on track. Between friends being over all day, to activities etc. I just feel too tired to exercise. I know that I have to either do it first thing in the morning, or after my kids go to bed. The problem is that I am so not a morning person, and by the time my children go to bed, it's pretty late, and I'm tired. I know these are just excuses and I need to just make the time, so that is my goal for the rest of the week. Food wise I have been doing ok, but I know I need to get back to counting calories.

JessicaDawn - Hope you had a good time at the stampede.

Sameen - 5 lbs while on vacation is awesome!!

Khrungy - Congratulations on moving down a size!

Avezy44 - Way to go with your jogging!

Ars - That would have frustrated me too,

Abreezies - Hang in there, you've been doing so well.

NancyO - That's terrible about the hail denting your car.

Dayoneagain - Glad you are doing well

Selina - So sorry about the losses you've recently had
That is wonderful news about the upcoming adoption, congratulations.

Bigmid - Sorry you have been feeling "blah" lately. I hope the sun comes out soon for you!

A big to anyone I missed.

Hi Team,
How is everyone today the sun is shining here so all is well. Sorry I didn't get on yesterday I got up about 8am then went and drank my coffee in the sun then had to get ready as Nancy and I went to a pancake breakfast (don't worry not as bad as it sounds about 7WW points) and then we went for a very long walk around glenmore park (very pretty along there) and then we went to the movies (mmmmmmmmmmm popcorn) then home a little tv and off to bed. Just getting ready to go to work now.

Nancy - You will be in the 180's in no time

dayoneagain - good for you for staying focused on your goal and don't worry I think we all go through the stage of talking to ourselves I think your plan of 25 days in a row is a good one.....I love mini goals. You do deserve that slim and slender body.

ars - to bad about the work thing.....I think unless someone is going through the same thing they just don't get it. I too can be around people eating stuff I love but when I make up my mind to not have it, it really is not big deal if others are eating it around me. Some people just don't understand. I hope it all works itself out.

Catsgetnhealthy - sounds like you have been busy with the training and picking up 2 new stores. Glad you can make a little time for yourself and relax

Soon2BFitChick - WooHoo on the adopition date. I really hope everything works out well. I am so sorry for all the losses in your life right now and send my condolenses your way

Narina99 - I hope you find your new routine so that you can have some time to yourself again. It's only been a couple weeks that the kids have been out so you should find time for yourself in there somewhere. I hear you on the morning thing I should exercise then too but I just can't get up any earlier than I really have to for work.

Well speaking of work I better get to it. Have a great day everyone.

Hello to the rest of the Blue Team

Morning bluets,

I'm glad to see most of you are doing well. Hugs to anyone having a rough time.

Not much news here. I had a bad start to the week, but am still working at a loss. I've been working on several small film shoots and am getting tired of it. I have another scheduled for this weekend, but the director seems like a lot of fun and overall this has been a good way for me to get out and meet people in a new city so it's still a good time.

It's just hard spending 12 hours a day next to a table filled with chips and cupcakes and buckets and buckets of candy. I've learned my lesson in assuming people will try to serve at least a few healthy options.

Went out for dinner and didn't drink - victory! I wasn't 100% perfect but chose veggies as my side rather than fries and mussels to start rather than pate... so I'm considering this a win. Had a really bad weekend last weekend, so if I can stay the same after my four days effort that will be good enough...although I'd love to see a loss.

How are all you girls doing???

It's very nice outside so think I'll be going for a walk/run when I get home

ricepapr - congrats on the loss and from staying away from the table filled with goodies......not sure that I could actually do that.

Angela - Way to keep up with the running....I know that I really like doing it and feel great afterwards except my left knee. But I really like the running....still on week one for me but that's okay one day I'll be where you are

dayoneagain - day 4/25 almost done keep up the great work and veggies as a side.....WooHoo!!!!

That's awesome Avezy!

Bigmid - you always sound sooo busy! No idea how you manage to stay focussed too!

I'm down 1.8lbs, which I am happy with. I really feel like I've had a bit of a break through with this target of 25 days on plan.

Avezy44: yay for the big loss!

dayoneagain: your loss is quite respectable, too!

I'm only down half a pound. I tried a long low-intensity workout for the third Friday in a row. But it didn't do it's magic this week -- just left me achy and bloated. Ah well, I'm not going to complain about 5.5 pounds in three weeks since I'm usually more in the 2-4 pound a month range.

We're about to get clobbered by a thunderstorm. Everything got ominously dark in the last few minutes. I hope everyone else has a calm and peaceful Sunday!

Hi all!

I'm finally moved in and think I have a routine down... or at least I hope. It was difficult going from having nothing to do to trying to squeeze everything I need to get done into a few hours. I'm also on a crunch with getting work done, meaning my boss has asked me to come in every weekend (just Sat) since I started. Ugh, I've been waiting for a good weekend so I can log on and talk to you guys!

Missed you all a lot and glad to see everyone making positive changes. Woohoo blue team!!! I'm shocked that I managed to not gain weight while figuring out how to get things done around here, but I guess the expense of eating out trumps tiredness and I force myself to cook dinner every night. Hehe. I'm also cooking lunch for the week on weekends so that I don't have to do more cooking on weeknights. So far, so good. Man, I don't know how people with kids manage to do this. Major, MAJOR, kudos to them!

I hit a new low of 151 this week and I was SOOOOO excited!!! I found a new recipe for quinoa that I absolutely loved. I was looking for a way to get rid of the big bag of quinoa I bought at Costco months ago because I really hated the taste of it plain, but this really hit the spot. It's also kept me full til the end of the day so the urge to eat crap when I come home has seriously gone down.

Exercise-wise, sigh. Still working on getting the energy to do something in the AMs, but it's tough. My goal this week is to take a brisk 30 min walk and then maybe move on to jogging next week. We'll see how it goes...

and an awesome week to all!

Hi All,

Well almost a lost 1lb this week, so less than a pound to go to get back to my pre-vacation weight. It sucks that it takes no time to put it on, but forever to take it off. So hopefully next week will be my new low...maybe even into the 180s!

Hope everyone's having a great Sunday!

Sorry team, I am up 2 more pounds this week. I almost took my last freebie, but I should be accountable, and save my freebie for when I can't weigh-in.
I've spent the weekend coming up with a plan for the rest of the Summer. I realize that I need to have a routine, because if I don't I just end up skipping my workouts, and grabbing anything to eat. So, I am determined to become a morning exerciser. I am going to have to start my workout at 5:30 am, (just typing that has me scared ), or else I know I won't get it done.

Angela - That is wonderful that you are in week 4 of the running program

dayoneagain - Good for you for choosing the veggies instead of the fries!

Avezy44 - 5 lbs is awesome!!!

gardenerjoy - I hope the thunderstorm wasn't too bad.

Sunnigummi - That's wonderful that you are cooking and prepping your food for the week. Congratulations on your new low

Nancy - 1lb is good! You'll be in the 180's in no time.

Bigmid - Sounds like you have been working a lot. Good for you for getting in your exercise still.

Hey everyone just a quick post its late and I just finished doing the totals. We did good this week but our BL can't be the BL as she did not post this week. Remember you must post at least once in the week to get the title of Biggest Loser. Great job everyone on the losses.

Avezy44 - awesome loss for the week how did you do it and can you send me some of that water.....lol

dayoneagain - great loss and way to stick to your plan it seems to be working very well for you.

gardenerjoy - WTG on the half pound and the 5.5 so far this month....hope you don't get hit to hard with the storm

sunnigummi - congrats on the 151!!!!! I'm glad to hear you have your routine down now and I sure hope you get a full weekend off soon. What is your receipe for the quinoa if you don't mind sharing

Nancy - great job on the loss this week

Narnia99 - don't worry about the gain it will come off again soon enough..... I hope you get to enjoy the morning exercising....I would if I could get out of bed....Maybe I should invent some sort of exercise routine that I can do without getting up....lol I'll let you know if I come up with one.

Well off to put up the new posts and then to bed have to work in the morning.

By the way I lost 1.6 lbs this week putting me in the 170's WooHoo!!!!!!
