My goal is to get down to 152 (17.5 lb loss) by the end of the challenge. Hopefully I will find a new job too!

Hi All,
This is my first challenge and I am so excited! I'm 31, single, and have recently moved back to my hometown in Nor Cal after living in So Cal for 13 years. I have lost about 100 pounds with better eating and exercise but have plateaued. I am starting calorie counting, with a goal of around 1500 calories a day. My goal for the challenge is to lose over 15 pounds and make it to onderland. Can't wait to get to know you all! JenniLeeAnn |
I'm just stopping in real quick. I have been swamped with work this week so haven't had many chances to post, but I am reading and keeping up. Nice to hear everyone's goals. I am hoping to be around 230 again by the end of the challenge, but my real goal is just to get stay on track and get back into good lifestyle habits again.
We can do this! Let's win :) |
Hi everyone,
This will be my first BL challenge. Unlike everyone else here, I’m sure, I don’t actually watch the Biggest Loser because, well, I just don’t watch TV, like ever. I have only ever watched some episodes of the BL on youtube and they were the Australian version. I own the wii game though. But nevertheless I am really excited about this challenge. Currently, my weight seems to be at a standstill, mostly because I seem to have lost my inspiration lately and keep breaking the rules. I cycle to and from work which I think is the only reason I haven’t gained any weight back because I sure as **** haven’t been sticking to my diet. I want to get stuck in again. When my mind is in the right place I can be incredibly disciplined but the minute I lose sight of my goals and lose the inspiration to keep going, I slip back into bad habits. I’m not overly unhappy with my body – at least not in the way I used to be. In fact compared with how miserable I was only a couple of years ago I am now the happiest person in the world. I’ve overcome a lot of my weight and non weight issues over the last few years and am pretty happy with myself these days but I still want to lose a bit more weight and tone up a bit. I’m 5’4’’, I currently weigh about 147lb and wear a UK size 12. The highest weight I have ever been is probably in the region of the 180’s and was a size 18. I joined 3 fat chicks at 159, a size 14. Short term I would like to be 133lb and a size 10 and depending on how I look and feel then I might want to get to about 126lb. For this challenge I am going to aim for 130lb and see how I go. Anyway I’m glad to be here. I just hope I can find the inspiration to keep going with this thing as lately I’ve been feeling as if I can’t be bothered. I look forward to getting to know everyone. |
Hello Red Team!
I'm really excited to participate in a BL challenge with all of you. I've been on a weight loss journey for about 3 yrs. And found myself struggling to lose the last 15 lbs. The scale makes me jump for joy or scream out in rage. :tantrum: I think it's time for me to truly commit to getting into shape. No more cake, cookies and other random junk food. And a whole lot more circuit training, cardio, and meditation. Goals: - Complete 10 hrs of exercise each week. - Stay OP with diet at least 90% of the time. - Limit alcohol consumption - Sign-up and run a 5K & 10 race by the end of Aug. :woops: Good luck everyone! |
I'm just dropping in to say I'm so excited for the challenge. I've been doing poorly and hope this will whip me into shape, because I am a competitive person.
This memorial weekend has had two barbeques and I find it easier to stay on track when there's a whole room of people watching you eat. I tend to be good in situations like that. It's the at home alone feeling that gets me eating. Ok, I"ll check in later. THanks for everyone's posts it's giving me good ideas for what I want my goals to be during this challenge, Tina |
