Congrats to all of our big losers!

So last week staying up on the food journal here was a little overwhelming, so I think I'm just going to participate in the LCW thread. Now i need to get off my bum and do my am workout (its 2:15 PM). I way overslept today, again.

Thanks ladies! And congrats to the runners up: aeart, abey, LeslieLou! It looks like the blue team is going to be a pretty formidable opponent this time around, so we've gotta stay on our game. Burn it!

I think we have a fighting chance next week though! Me plus quite a few others used a freebie this week for various reasons...and we weren't that far behind them...so LET'S GET 'EM GIRLS! We can whoop 'em! :strong:

I've been totally on plan and doing REALLY good as far as working out goes... for more than two weeks now. Not even a pound lost, I'm pretty disappointed. I think this is the most I've ever applied myself as far as exercise goes so hopefully this week I see some results.

i didnt do any of my dvd or wii workouts today... :( i was too tired. i took a nap after lunch. but i feel better now. I did get on the trampoline with the kids for a half hour after we got DD from school. so i did get some exercise and burned 330 calories....although my eating was off today....i'll try to do better tomorrow.

Hey everyone....I am here but I used a freebie too because I didn't realize that the WI date had changed. Apparently there was a purple team that changed it? Anyway, hopefully I can make this work. I'm going to try :P. And I have major motivation. My sister is getting married in St Thomas while on a cruise in September. And.....I really want a balcony room but my dh doesn't cuz of the cost. Sooooo.....if I make 130 by July 15th I get my balcony room!

ArmyWife02 01-11-2010 11:51 PM

thats great motivation Candice :) I'd rather have a balcony too ;) more views and fun than an inside room. hope you hit your goal before the july deadline :) good luck :)

Good job Red Team! Even though we didn't win this week it was a close one. I have confidence we'll step it up and win big next week.

Have a good week everybody!

Just pokin my head in to say Hi! It's been crazy for me for the last few days. We finally got a diagnosis for my dad (Hep B). We're hoping they will admit him to the hospital today for a feeding tube. He's down to 109 lbs, on a 6'1" body. :( He is super sick, and between homeschooling my kids and trying to deal with him, I'm exhausted.

I have to say, I think we (the red team) did great! Keep it up everyone.

VeeDeValentine 01-12-2010 07:43 AM

Well done everyone! Those are great results! :)

:D So today I had a really big reflection moment, I don't know if anyone else has had one? But I've been eating healthily and calorie couting for just under a month, and this is the first one I've had.
So basically, school was over for me, but I went to the local supermarket with a friend because she was hungry, and I wanted a snack to last me until I got home to lunch. She's my best friend, but hates her weight, has a horrible eating habit, and I think may be one of the reasons why I used to snack so often...anyway.
I bought an apple, because it was all I wanted.
She bought two packets of crisps, a large carton of apple juice (150cals!) and a bag of chocolate raisans with over 1000 calories in it.
This was for her lunch.
I didnt say anything, because she is very touchy about what she eats, but it amazed and to be honest, shocked me. I can't belive that I used to eat so badly! Seriously, I wouldn't dare eat it now, not even one packet of crips because I don't crave them, and I don't want them in my body.
Anywho, I just wanted to share it, because it just really shocked me, and gave me a little reality jolt of the contradiction between me now, and me a month ago :)

Good morning ladies! Congrats to all the losers this past week.

Last week I was smack in the middle of TOM so it was kind of a crappy week for me and we had our yearly blizzard (1 inch of snow, but in TN we think it's 1 foot) . This week though I'm hitting the ground running.

Have any of you ladies heard of Demarle cookware? I had a brunch for my friends yesterday using this and it is excellent for cooking healthy foods. I made a crustless quiche with fresh veggies and it was great, no oils were used, minimal butter and the cleanup was a breeze. I also roasted asparagus and my daughter that is a very picky eater ate four pieces! Needless to say I'm a believer in this stuff and I can't wait to cook chicken and fish in it as well.

Good luck this week ladies and have an awesome day!!!

tonimaroni2 - Hang in there, the results will show...believe me, I know its frustrating, but it will happen

I am trying to remember to take a multivitamin, I have been feeling pretty tired. Part and parcel of getting up at 4:45 every day, I know, but still out of character for me. I'm trying to stay committed, although I'm tired...; I did go to bed at 9:00 last night, so that helped

Good afternoon team... :carrot:

I decided last week to start doing two-a-days. I seem to lose the most weight when I work out twice a day. Yesterday, I did a FUN Aquacise class and then some circuit training. Today, I did 30 Day Shred , and will do Spinning class tonight. My gym offers great classes. So the plan is to do an excercise vid in the AM, and a class + plus some individual work in the evenings. ;) Let's get this weight off, RED TEAM! Have a great week!!!
