thanks Ms P....I guess I am. I have both kids home today (due to the holiday) and they make messes regardless of if they're asked to clean up. i'm doing laundry today, and have been going thru closets in the last couple weeks, weeding out the clothes we dont wear or cant wear. DD still has way too many clothes (mostly shirts) and plan to get all the clothes clean and put away and then weed thru them again. I had to dig out the closet extension to make double rods in her closet because it was too full, and her plastic dresser we used to use for toys is now holding extra jeans and shorts...but DS is finally hitting a growth spurt and a lot of his stuff is getting too small. so i have the two extreme going on with their clothes - she has too many and he doesnt have enough.
so I plan to attack the house (and her closet/dressers) today, since i dont have to go anywhere (except maybe walmart for milk)....i'm going to look around each room at everything and if we dont/cant use it anymore - it's going in the boxes, then when i run outta boxes - will start on bags lol
i'm hoping that by the weekend, i'll have less house to clean, and can better balance the house and my eating/workouts. I've been reading a book i got from the library (which i plan to recheck out on Saturday when it's library day)....it's called Cleaning and the Meaning of Life: Simple Solutions to Declutter Your Home and Beautify Your Life - it's a great book and very eye opening (yes i'm a weird person who loves to read books about organization, clutter, and procrastination).....so considering buying it for my kindle, so i will always have it to look back on when needed (and wont clutter the shelves with books).

well on Amazon they have the book in used condition for like $0.82 plus shipping (which for a book is $2.98 i think)....but the kindle version is $9.96 - cost more but it sends directly to my kindle. i see they also have a kindle for pc - its similar to the kindle in the setup but its on your computer (and its free, vs the $259+ cost of the actual kindle). now i can send my books to either one if i want. i have a saved for later list on my kindle - so i can go buy them once we get paid lol but most books are less than $9.99 - i used to love buying the cheap used books on amazon, till i got my kindle (when the kindle2 was released - now it's $100 cheaper ) go figure....now i dont have to dust the books or find them., i still have books scattered everywhere, since i have no where to put them ....lol

hubby just got offline, so i can go eat lunch and make lunch for the kids, then get started on the cleaning of the house (he's been online for a few hours, so i've been 'nailed' to my office chair..) now i need to get my energy and motivation to get it cleaned up in here (plus the kids have been cutting and taping paper - so my dining area is a disaster to say the least)

Don't sell yourself short, I just started about 2 months ago. I was never a runner before. Even when I was smaller than I am now, I got side stitches and just thought I'd never be a runner

Well I am going to do it (run) when I am smaller, right now I am concerned about my knees. All this excess weight is not good for them and I was told not try running until I was close to my goal weight. I wanted to run because Jillian was always saying on her radio show running just shreads the fat off. But my doctor said no.

I have been trying to get on all day and the board won't let me..... Did anyone else have trouble?

yes i'd had issues too. i'm on now, but its not showing any tickers....it's weird. lol or that part could just be my computer.
today was payday, came a day early. so was busy all day running around town shopping. got me and DS some new clothes at the veteran's appreciation sale on Old Navy (my fav store). got a performance fleece jacket for only $14.01 (it was normally $34.50 - but was on sale for $20 then i got the 30% off) - so am thrilled and a few more tank tops (like i need more-i have a drawer FULL already-but needed, well wanted, some new colors - plus they were on sale too) and some workout shorts. and got DS some LS shirts and jeans (they had toddler boy jeans for 2 for $22 - and with the sale and discount - i got 2 pairs for $15.40 - one pair is normally $16.50, so awesome deal there). then hit the walmart for their $3.50-5 LS shirts and pants. so he's set for the winter now
plus learned that kmart and sears will layaway a ps3 console, just have to find it in store to do it for hubby and toys r us does it too. but hubby saw somewhere where amazon.com was supposed to BF is for 199. so gonna try that first

Just dropping by to say I hope everyone has a good end to their week. It's TGIF here in SK. My 5 day vacation starts in less than 45 minutes. I am staying here on the island, but looking forward to some time to rest and relax. I've been sick this week with a slight cold and each day it knocks me down a little further. I haven't been in the gym since last Saturday, but I have been getting exercise at home. Anyways, hope everyone has a good weekend.

got to talk to my friend in GA last night. was good to have a long talk with her, haven't got to talk to her in a while....she was my first college roommate back in '99.
I'm back down to 150.4 today....haven't had time or energy to workout lately. So hoping to get back into it later today and wear my new workout shorts but for now at least i'm warm in my new old navy black sweatpants I'm going to work on hubby's fleece quilt.....it's already getting cold there at night and i need to get it done and mailed before it's too late and they aren't accepting mail anymore.
my son is so cute in his new O.N. jeans - he looks so grown up in a real pair of jeans (and not just the lookalikes they have at walmart)....our baby's not a baby anymore he'll be 4 soon.....i'm a proud mama....that's starting to feel old - esp with our oldest about to turn 7 and in the 1st grade. lol
oh well, i'll be back on later. I have DS occupied watching his handy manny movie, so i can go upstairs and get hubby's quilt done. have a lot to do before it's ready to mail.
