What was nice for me about signing up for the summer challenge (my first one) wasn't so much the competition as the cooperation and accountability. For one thing, nobody gets eliminated from a team unless they fail to meet more than 2 weigh-ins. People drop off because either life takes over, they forget, whatever, but anyone who weighs in every week stays on the team til the end.
The blue team I'm on now started out with about 40 members, I think, and we're down to 9 in the home stretch.
Next Monday is the end of the line.
I mean, I went into it figuring I wasn't gonna be biggest loser or anything, lol...I just wanted that extra motivation to make me work harder, not just to make myself proud, but to do well for the team.
So...for you first-timers, yes, you'll get on a team.
As long as you weigh in every week on schedule (you get 2 freebies/free passes), regardless of whether you lose or gain, you'll be on that team to the end!
