Manick - That is my darling Emily. She is holding the dog food cause that represents the 16.5 lbs I have lost since TBL challenge started. She was excited that she could lift that much. Wanted to share the visual. Fibrelover(Lori) inspired me to look for comparisons!

I am only 3.5 lbs away from making it two bags of dog food for my total weight loss so far!

Julia, The one thing I don't like in 30DS is that you can't get to the menu or skip the beginning part on DVD player..so you have to sit there and watch all the "preview" of other TBL DVDs and stuff. However, I discovered that if you do it on the computer, you can. So using your computer maybe a great idea. ;)

Hmm, I can skip through the ads for the other TBL DVDs, but I can't skip through the Jillian talk or the stupid intro music thing on my DVD player. Can you skip through those on the computer?

Hello everyone else, I went to the dentist yesterday and it was a bit different then I expected. They didn't pull the tooth, they are going to do that in 3 weeks. Instead they ground down the teeth on either side of the one that is getting pulled so that they can make the bridge. It hurt a lot...not the actual teeth, but the gums...because they were grinding at and below the gum level. My gums were so sore and it was so traumatic. I wish they would have just pulled the tooth and got it over with, now I will be all worked up again in 3 weeks.

I haven't been doing well lately with either the eating or the exercise. I've been getting 30 minute walks in here and there but eating has been hit and miss. This morning, I got up and road the bike for 30 minutes, which in my opinion is better than walking. My goal(s) for the rest of the challenge are: 1) to get back on track 2) lose 1 lb a week. I know that isn't much but it is a doable goal and I don't want to overwhelm myself with too big of a goal. I will be doing good to get back to losing even a pound.

Is anyone doing the South Beach Diet? I am thinking of doing it.

Hi team,

Hopefully, you won't kick me off the team this week. Sorry, but I thought I had posted this week. Looks like its been several days. To be honest, I've thought about dropping out because I just haven't been focused the last few weeks because of the work situation and I haven't been a good team member.

I am going to try to hang in there though and get down to 245 before the end. I've really enjoyed the competition and hope we start another round soon after this one ends.

You all have been very inspiring. I'm off to the fitness center again tonight. I'm trying to get my endurance built back up to where I'm doing 60 minutes of cardio again. I really want to have time to do that five nights a week. Maybe planning that for after labor day (and all the darn yard work) is more attainable.

I'm off to go sweat. :wave: to all!

Wow I'm exchausted! Spent 2hrs int the pool with the kids then we did the 20 minute challenge sponsored by the Running/Walking Room. Got free hats and the kids did awesome!

Hi Black Team!!!

Sorry I haven't been posting as much...not that I was very good about it to beging with - but at least I was posting weekly.

I'm happy to say I'M BACK ON TRACK!! Today I wieghed in at 203 so my weight = my ticker. That's always a good thing. Now there's only one way to go - DOWNWARD.

My goal by the end of the challenge is to reach ONEderland. 4 lbs. When I started the challenge my goal was to stick with it and not become overwhelmed or frustrated by those who might lose faster than me. I'm on my own journey and I'm happy to say I'm still here.

Today I finished Phase I of P90X Lean. It's supposed to take 4 weeks but due to my schedule it took me about 4 1/2 weeks - not too bad.

And thanks to P90X, I'm doing yoga again weekly and loving it. It's sooooo good for me. I'm an on-again, off-again yoga practitioner. I had a very consistent practice for several years while living in So Cal. (I even taught yoga as a means to voice production.) Upon moving to PA, my practice became quite sporadic. My goal is to start yoga teacher training in December when I'll also have lost another 20-30 lbs!!

Yup. On the computer's DVD player, you can get right to the beginning of the workout. :)

So yesterday my tooth started hurting little bit...but it was bearable. Now, I can't stand it. It was kinda okay even this morning but now... OUCH!
I actually called the dentist today bc it was getting bad, but the only one I can make isn't till next Thursday! I did make the appointment but I really will have to call tomorrow and see if I can get in soon...like TODAY! If not, I may have to call different dentist and see if I can go there..

I can't even bite into anything and even if I put food in my mouth, I have hard time chewing... It's the one front tooth that's hurting and it's not sensitive or anything like that. It's just when there's pressure, it hurts. So even when I move my mouth, it hurts. My nose and right eye also hurt along with the tooth.... At least I can drink water...so that's good.

I joked around today and told my BF that maybe I won't be able to eat bc it hurts so bad and I will lose some weight. :P

Oh, I still managed to work out for 45 minutes and do some lower ab workout with my daughter... :D
