Have fun tonight Jen...that sounds like it would be a blast! The only thing is I would make a fool out of myself...I tend to look like a fish out of water while dancing! I just sorta flop aroundLOL! Have a great time, and great job with eating OP yesterday

Hi everyone -

This week is going much better then last week I'm doing sorta a kick-start plan of my own. (Sorta like the "Quick Start" in WW) It's only a one week thing to see what kinda boost I can get in numbers. Basically trying to stick to 1200 calories, which doesn't sound like a big deal, but I exercise a lot and I'm aiming for burning at least 1000 a day this week.

Normally I'd eat more to fuel these kinda workouts. No lectures please this is only a one week deal.

Hope the week perks up a bit for everyone else!

I'm adding some new ones to my Netflix queue so if you have any suggestions, I'm all ears!
My favorites are the WATP's workouts. I do like the Billy Blanks Bootcamp, but it's hard. I like me some Kathy Smith too and I record things of Fit-tv and save them on my DVR a lot too. I have a Ball workout, some Strength training & Yoga with Cathe Friedrich (sp), Some Belly Dancing. I also have The Dancing With The Stars cardio. it's fun!

I've stayed OP so far since Sunday. My foot hurts a little so I didn't exercise yesterday, but today I am cleaning the house and I always work up a sweat doing that. I may hit the GYM later when Jess gets home. Depends on my mood and whether I am tired by then or not. I can actually see some little side(waist) dips happening on my person. I'm so glad that after 3 months of steady exercise, I am FINALLY starting to see some results, and people are starting to comment on it, so that's cool. It's shame it takes OTHER people saying something before jess will actaully comment on it, but whatever. He prolly senses whats to come once I do hit goal and am SELF SUFFICIENT. Anyway, don't get me started..... Gotta go clean.

Looks like it has been a rough week for many of us. I have stayed on my pan but darn it has been hard. My dot is here and just trying to move is nasty. I get up, feed everyone, do some house work, exercise, go back to bed. I do this several times a day lol. I am starving all the time but don't want anything and yet want everything. Might be a good thing I have been vegging out in bed watching old movies lol I am far from the fridge lol. I did have to go get scripts yesterday so I did a weigh in. I was 5 pounds over but that was to be expected that is usual at dot time. I had to go back in today because they forgot to give me half the scrips I needed. Did another weigh in lol. Exactly the same as last week. Now how did I lose 5 pounds in one day lol. I was pretty happy with that. Will be nice to see what next weigh in is which should be much more accurate. Other than that don't think I have left the house since Saturday except to get the mail lol.

i just bought the cardio dance - dancing with the stars dvd....but am trying to sell it (since walmart wont let me return it)...it's not my thing and i am so very uncoordinated lol i LOVE my watp - i just got her walk slim series from ebay last friday. and have been using it this week.
my neighbors took a break yesterday from exercising, so i just did the 4 miles (56 minutes) while they went shopping.
today we all did the 3 miles (45 minutes), then after that they started planning for their camping trip for the weekend while i did the 4 miles (56 minutes)....
so in 101 minutes this morning i logged in 7 miles. and feeling good....i wanna walk to school but its gonna be too hot (mid 90s)...so will most likely be driving lol but i got 69 minutes left for this week - and i'll earn my 4th red team badge in the beach hopping challenges i'm aiming for all 15 badges lol so far so good LOL

Just popping in to say "hi" -- I agree it's a struggle for so many of us this week. Little steps, a couple hours at a time ladies -- we need to kick some serious butt in the challenge to make us feel better!!

Planning a very busy outdoor holiday weekend to keep me on track. What are your plans for the long weekend?

Hey ladies....so my week has been completely off so far. I make Friday morning my weigh in, so essentially i've been off plan since this past friday. I threw a fondue party for my monthly Girl's Night, so lots of food.
Today is my birthday, so the girl's brought me cake on Saturday, then I went to a family bbq on Monday and today is a write off, to say the least. I think I will change my weigh in day so I can try to get back on plan....grrr...oh well, tomorrow is another day...lol....

Sooooo.....stressful day here with my teenager!! Anyone want one? I've got one to ship off!! Ugh! So I havent made it out to do my 1 mile for the fitness challenge (anyone else gonna do that?? I've only gotten 1 set of results!) anyway, I was watching Ellen and hula hooping and Ellen had the WiiFit on there...it has HULA HOOPING!!!! Got me kinda excited because while I've got the right sized hula...its really hard to do in here because of our limited space. i'm interested as all get out in seeing if its similar to doing the real thing.

I'm going to go in tomorrow and see if we can get a family membership at the Y, now that my rec center at the university is no longer covered with tuition. We have family who only pays $25 a month for their family pass.

Tonight we are going to the premier of the new Indiana Jones movie. They were giving them away on the radio this morning and I got some!!

Okay that means we've got to get homework done early tonight so I gotta go help...havent broken the bad news to my dd about losing her phone for a week yet either....if you hear screaming and crying where you are, not to worry, its just her!

His family does have a camper but we use a tent. I can't stand to be stuck in the camper where his father turns the air down so low it is warmer outside in the dead of night in the middle of winter lol. It will be very cool out at night but we have great sleeping bags that we zip out and make into blankets. They would keep you warm in the dead of winter.

HoosierHeather - I like a lot of different videos. Are you looking for cardio, or something else?
I love WATP, Dancing off the Inches series, 10 Minute Solution series (especially Slim & Sculpt Pilates, Fitness Ball Workouts, and the Dance mix videos), Zumba - which kicks my xxx, and Donna Richardson's Sweating in the Spirit 2.

Sorry so many are struggling! I finally dropped .6 lb. today after being at the same EXACT weight for 6 straight days. I'm hoping it stays down tomorrow and maybe invites another few tenths to depart as well

My weekend plans are no more. Due to a death in the family of one of the pharmacists at the hospital, another pharmacist being on vacation, and another one out having surgery - DH is working 12 hour shifts through the weekend that he was supposed to have off Best laid plans. So I went shopping for a skirt pattern (I haven't found many skirts I like this spring) and I am going to get some sewing done instead. My spring wardrobe is non-existent and I am way too cheap to pay full price for new clothes

Shy - have fun camping!!!!

Melissa - I have 20 something I will swap for your teenager right now. I'm not very happy with DS2's behavior.

Hang in there REDS, we can do this! Stay strong!

It has been one of those weeks for me as well. I am trying to stay on plan but it's not working out too well. I think once I get back from vacation this next weekend I will be jump starting myself again. I am going to try to exercise while I am up north, but it never fails, whenever I go home I always gain a couple of pounds. It's also almost TOM so that is NOT helping one bit. I'm not going overboard, but just don't feel at my best.

Tomorrow I have training in the afternoon to learn how to interview people, so I will be working in the morning, and then Friday afternoon I took off since it is my son's last day of 3rd grade...going to pick him up and then we will head up north. Tonight my son has his first baseball practice of the season so I'm going to post this now and head out.

My next post I promise will be more upbeat!

Melissa, I am so sorry I haven't gotten into the challenges the last 2 weeks Please forgive me.

ok updated my beach hop #4 exercise for today...i did some more work outs while hubby was gone helping a neighbor...so got another 45 minutes in - the blast belly fat 10 minute (dvd from netflix), and 10 minute buns and 10 minute thighs and the 15 minute pilates challenge (hit the spot pilates). so only 23 minutes left to get my 4th badge.
yippee...time for a shower and go buy more printer ink at walmart for hubby.....fun!

Quick update - my boss was surprisingly understanding and I won't be working more than 6 hours a day anymore, and as soon as I talked to her I felt a million times better and less stressed.

Off to the gym to see my trainer, so psyched!
