i just updated my intro - short term goal....i saw that lots of ppl are short term goal'ed for losing 20-30 lbs by the end of the challenge....makes me wanna work harder to hit my goal (which is 19 lbs away)....so i updated my posting to hit goal by the end of this challenge....maybe it'll make me more motivated to 'get'er'done' LOL

1. What would you like us to call you? You can call me Lonnie

2. What eating plan are you using? I'm just eating healthy, and counting calories. But if I want something "bad" then I just have it in moderation.

3. What is your favorite way to exercise? I like taking walks at night after dinner. I also love my Biggest Loser workout DVD's that I do everyday.

4. What is one area of weightloss that you struggle with? It varies. One week I'll have trouble with cravings, and another week I'll have motivation issues with exercise, and then I'll have a perfect week.

5. What is one area of weightloss that you excel at? I don't give up! I've been doing this since Feburary. Yes I've made some mistakes and bad food choices but I haven't given up! I don't plan on it either!

6. What is your short term goal? My short term goal is to weigh 250lbs. Thats what I weighed before I got pregnant with my second daughter 3 years ago

7. What will you reward yourself with when you reach that goal? I haven't really thought about it yet. I think the feeling of reaching my goal is going to be reward enough.

8. Best weight loss tip? Never ever give up. No matter how bad of a day or week your having don't ever give up!

10. Tell us a little about yourself! I'm 28 I have two Daughter's ages 2 and 11. I have a boyfriend of 9 years. I'm a Certified Nursing Assistant, and I plan on starting college in the Fall for Nursing. Right now I'm a stay at home mom. I just want to spend some time with the kids and focus on myself as far as exercise and eating right goes. I plan on returning to work in August. I'm a huge animal lover and I love the outdoors! I'm also a huge Fairy collector!

I am SAHM to a 2yo. I like to read and digital scrapbook. I have been married to my wonderful husband for 8 years. I have a long way to go with losing weight but, I am not going to give up until I hit my goal! I am determined to be healthy by the end of the year!!

3. What is your favorite way to exercise? at the gym usually, now in the park

4. What is one area of weightloss that you struggle with? consistency

5. What is one area of weightloss that you excel at? eating right

6. What is your short term goal? 20 pounds lost by June 6th

7. What will you reward yourself with when you reach that goal? getting a tattoo

8. Best weight loss tip? be consistent and keep going when it gets hard; eat your vegetables

10. Tell us a little about yourself! I am a student in my final year getting my BA in Sports and Entertainment Management. I love my mama. I am single no kids but lots of lovely friends and two gorgeous nieces who are my heart. i have been overweight since i was 18. and before that i was very athletic and had no weight problems at all. My long term goal is 150 lbs by October my STG's are 10 pounds per month. .

2. What eating plan are you using? Slightly modified from my nutritionist

3. What is your favorite way to exercise? The treadmill and bellydancing cardio

4. What is one area of weightloss that you struggle with? Exercise and restraint

5. What is one area of weightloss that you excel at? Water and journaling

6. What is your short term goal? 243 by the end of this challenge, more realistically probably 260

7. What will you reward yourself with when you reach that goal? A mani/pedi, three romance novels, and a bubble bath :D Maybe a man if I can swing it ;)

8. Best weight loss tip? Rewards. Bribe yourself shamelessly.

10. Tell us a little about yourself! I'm a sophomore (newly, school just ended!) double majoring in Creative Writing and Ancient Greek/Latin Languages. I've been overweight since I was three, obese since I was 12. No spouse, no kids, but a niece and nephew, two sisters, and a brother. I have a diet buddy on the Black Team and the competition is fierce! We're playing dirty against each other, lol.

Diva, thanks for the encouragement! I don't really want to have surgery but it seems as if I will never lose this weight on my own.

I love to see all of the people who have tattoos as their reward! I was going to get one once I reached goal, but then I realized if I waited for that I might never get one. So I took the plunge and got one last summer. I used a picture of it for my avatar. It's about 3x3 and it's on my left ankle. I will probably get another one once I do finally reach goal.

Hello fellow red team members!
I am so excited to be able to be a part of this challenge and to get to know all of you.

1. What would you like us to call you? Jen

2. What eating plan are you using? principle of 3 hour diet combined with the tracking of the Richard Simmons foodmover

3. What is your favorite way to exercise? Our family is into geocaching so I would have so say hiking in the woods.

4. What is one area of weightloss that you struggle with? Evening snacking and eating healthy while school is in session

5. What is one area of weightloss that you excel at? Planning meals, playing around with recipes to make them healthier.

6. What is your short term goal? To get under 200 by the end of this challenge

7. What will you reward yourself with when you reach that goal? Some new clothes

8. Best weight loss tip? Have a big glass of water with your meal and take a sip between each bite.

9. Bob or Jillian? Well Bob is better looking :) However I think Jillian would be the one that would be able to better motivate me.

10. Tell us a little about yourself! I am 34. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 15 years now. We have 4 children ranging in ages from 3 to 14. (So our house is constantly like a circus, but I wouldn't have it any other way.) I am currently in school finishing my degree so things can be a bit hectic at times. I have a year left including my internship and then I am going to celebrate by taking the family on a Disney cruise. I haven't been doing very well with eating healthy and have put about 40 lbs back on since last August when fall term began. So I am hoping that this challenge will help put me back on track. Now that school is out for the summer I am going to be putting in a huge vegetable garden. I especially love the heirloom varieties. The weirder the better!

HA! Jillian has to wear PINK next season because of a bet she & Ali made! HA HA HA!!! :D

One of the things Ali keeps saying is "Set yourself up to Win"..I love this. So far it's about food. Like having Frozen yogurt in the freezer rather than Ben & Jerry's, and at BBQ's this summer, have grilled chicken with dry rubs rather than marinade's, and bring fruit & veggies and just "set yourself up to win". How cool is that?!

2. What eating plan are you using? lindora "lean for life"- which is a low carb, low fat plan that also has a bit of calorie cycling.
3. What is your favorite way to exercise? walking every day, yoga mondays, hip hop tuesday and wednesday.
4. What is one area of weightloss that you struggle with? patience and being happy with short term success.
5. What is one area of weightloss that you excel at? staying on plan.
6. What is your short term goal? to get to halfway-- 170.
7. What will you reward yourself with when you reach that goal? maybe some new clothes because my clothes are all getting too big. i know it's weird but i REALLY want to be on goal so all i can focus on is being done and total hottie. ;)
8. Best weight loss tip? positive thinking! "you can do this, you deserve this. you are a great person and this is just so that people will see that you're outward appearance is just as great as your inward! [not literally, of course]"

Tell us a little about yourself! 22 year old [turning 23 on thurs!] future teacher, b.a. in business econ., living in l.a. single, no kids, used to live on my own but moved back home when my mom was diagnosed with cancer. i'm a christian. i play the piano, guitar, and just got my drum set! i love modern art and design, architecture, fashion, etc, and am a makeup fiend who hopefully will be a freelance makeup artist someday. i have a plethora of interests, including an addiction to perez hilton!
