My goals for this challenge are:
  • Lose 15 pounds
  • Exercise 5-6 days a week
  • Increase my water intake (on a consistent basis)
  • Get all of my veggies in
  • Little to no gain (or at least maintain) during my vacation the first week of June
  • Continue toning and see great strides in inches lost

Pantry/Refrigerator must haves:
  • Diet Sunkist (need to drink less of this)
  • Shredded Wheat (breakfast)
  • Tomato Juice (breakfast)
  • Triscuit Thin Crisps
  • Lite Laughing Cow cheese (garlic flavored - yum!)
  • Pineapple packed in pineapple juice
  • Tomatoes and Green Chilies (Rotel)
  • Frozen Chicken
  • RED PEPPERS - my favorite!
  • Red Onions
  • 100% Whole Wheat Tortillas
  • Smuckers Natural Peanut Butter
  • Olive Oil

I am missing my girls! I'll get you all over here one by one...LOL! I already have Vanetta! HEHE;)

I'm gonna have to do TBL2 Workout here @ home today because I am running to the dang bathroom every 15 minutes, grrrrrrr....

Hello Fellow Red Team Members!
 
1. What would you like us to call you? Pam

2. What eating plan are you using? a mixture of Michael Thurman and Weight watchers core plan. Basically very low carbs and no white sugar or white flour, No soda

3. What is your favorite way to exercise? swimming:swim:,:woops: tread mill and geocaching

4. What is one area of weightloss that you struggle with? I am so addicted to sugar. If I can break that I can acheive any weight loss goal

5. What is one area of weightloss that you excel at? I don't

6. What is your short term goal? 20 pounds at a time

7. What will you reward yourself with when you reach that goal? Don't know yet, probably something technology related. After my first 50 pounds, I'm getting an IPOD! But I started that goal before I joined Biggest loser

8. Best weight loss tip? JOURNALING! Not only food but feelings; most of the time my slip ups are caused by outside triggers in my life, journaling helps me 1. keep track of my calorie intake 2. write down those feelings so that I can have an outlet and can look back at them and find patterns or identify certain triggers (ie. husband, kids, schedule..etc.).

10. Tell us a little about yourself! I am 41 years old. I have two children (g-12) (b-8), a husband, and a dog. We live near Kansas City, KS in Gardner. I have been overweight for about 15 years. I have suffered for a long time with depression and post tramatic stress disorder and eating was my therapy. I am somewhat happy to say that I am mentally healthy but physically falling apart. I have been diagnosed with type II diabetes and HBP so I'm in this for the long run. I will be the biggest looser I do not want to spend the rest of my life taking medicine. Besides the metformin makes me sick.
