Hey Red team! I just wanted to let you all know that when the next challenge starts there are alot of us who are going to be going through Trainer Bob's new book "Are you Ready" and working through it together. Just wanted to give you the heads up in case you wanted to grab a copy and go through it too.

I'll post this on the other thread too.

Hi all~

Melissa ~ count me in on doing Trainer Bob's book with you. :D

I hope everyone is doing well. Still haven't had a chance to catch up here. :sorry: Yesterday I was working out, dong Jillian's 30 day Shred, well I was on my 2nd set of jumping jacks when my knee, rather something around my knee, popped. :censored::censored::censored: did it take my breath away!!! I did the same thing like almost 2yrs ago while I was working. So I've been taking it easy, got some icy hot and that has made it feel better. I'll try going for a real walk Friday to see how it does. Walking, modified squats, and other leg work, will be about all I'll be able to handle for a bit, besides upper body stuff. My main focus is finding some way to get my heart rate up. I'll also try my recumbant bike friday and see how that feels, but I'm thinking just the motion might not work, yet. I think I'll be able to modify the TBL workouts too. Anyways that's all that's up with me. I'm trying to keep myself busy so I don't eat out of boredom. :nono: I guess I should come hang out here, catching up will keep me busy! :) Talk to ya'll soon. :grouphug:

I do my exercise. I put every morsel I eat into fit day. I have never lost 2 pounds in a day. I think you are an alien and just aren't telling me lol.

Shy...lol I wish I had some deep dark secret how to lose weight. Cause if I did, I'ld be at my goal weight by now. I haven't journaled or eatin OP in so long, I think the loss is my body going into shock. lol I'm sure it's going to go up and down over the next few days before I officially WI. :)

Sometimes people ask me for advice lol. What do I know. I have never had to lose weight before. What I am doing just seems to work for me. I really want to be an alien that can eat banana pudding all day long and then pop a grape into my mouth and lose 20lbs lol.

Hiya ladies~ Things have been kinda crazy around here. I took on the job on watching my 5 1/2 old nephew, so he keeps me busy. I have to say though he is a very good little guy, and it's some extra cash for my Vegas trip coming up. I told my sister though I can't do this all summer long. I refuse to give up my whole summer, and I also refuse to get up at 6:45 all summer. So I told her she has until the end of May to figure out what shes going to do. For now though I'm enjoying him and the kids love having him around. My eating and exercise has been OP....I lost count of what day I'm on, but I think it's 25?!? All's I know is that I feel great and my energy has been great. TOM is due a week or so and although I have PMS I'm not having the food cravings that I usually have. This baby does keep me busy though, so no time to really sit and eat extra meals!LOL! Hope your all doing well. I can't wait for next week and the challenge to start. I hope I land on this team with you all again:)

Tina..you couldnt pay me enough to be in baby jail again! I've gotten to used to my girls being so independent and self sufficient. Babies are just exhausting! LOL!

Shy~ I sure wish I were an alien too, that would make things nice and easy, but I guess if it's easy, then it's easy to go back to old ways and being fat!
Tina~ Well sounds like you have your hands full! I don't blame you for not wanting to tie up your entire summer with getting up at 645 and having an extra kiddo around. I sure wish I had told all the moms that I was going to be done sooner then July 11th, what the heck was I thinking?!
Mel~ Good luck with your job search! The anticipation can be the worst sometimes! :) I know what you mean about kids becoming independant and how much work babies are. My older ones are teenagers and I love my little man to death, but there are days when I wonder what we were thinking! LOL We were over half way done, just to start completely over. lol but I wouldn't change it for anything in the world.
Ok enough of my babbling, I need to try to get some homework done today before the baby comes and I don't have time.

Work's been pretty busy and isn't going to let up anytime soon. I usually do most of my 3FC time at work so I really feel out of the loop. I've long given up on the all teams thread. It's just too overwhelming. I can't even keep up on reading it all any more. I really miss my wonderful RED team! Here's hoping we all get to be together again this time!

Lately I've been feeling thin(ner). A few weeks ago, I went out of town to visit an old friend. I recently got some pictures of me back from that weekend and realized that while I am thinner than I was, I still don't look "thin". I got really depressed for a while. I have a goal to lose as much weight for my Florida vacation and just recently realized it's only 5 weeks away! I'm going to be nowhere near as thin as I was hoping to be. :( I'm excited for my vacation, but am already dreading getting back the pictures from the trip. I already know that looking at them is going to make me sad. :( I know that I'm losing slowly which is the healthy way to go and that I am actually losing so that should be celebrated - it's just that my vain self is a little disappointed. "Vain Karen" just needed to vent a little today, I guess.

I got a gift card for Overstock.com and am trying to decide what to get. I'm considering Bob's book. I also would like to get a few more workout DVDs. I'm not totally sure, but I believe that Muse is the one that recommend Jari Love. I have the original one - Get Ripped - and would like to know what other Jari Love DVDs you really like. Muse (or whoever got me hooked on Jari) - any suggestions?
