  • Good morning everyone,

    I got up late this morning. So, I am still trying to play catch up with morning routine. It stormed here last night and the wind whipped like crazy. It was so bad the house alarm went off 3 or 4 times. That is a horrible way to get woke up. So, far today I have been POP and hope to continue to be today.

  • QOTD - today I must resemble Eyeore. Kinda gloomy. My low back is in a lot of pain and I cannot sit at my desk. I've been laying in bed and getting up only when the girls need somthing. I'm going to take something and go lay on the floor and stretch over my little Miracle Balls. I think (HOPE) that it's just TOM issues. Some months my joints and especially my low back get so inflammed. I didn't do anything to cause it. Had a great day of exercise yesterday with 90 min of cardio and 30 min of pilates and 30 min of lower body work. No pain though. Hopefuly I'll get AF and this will all resolve. I got to go lay down though because sitting here is quite painful.

    I know I really am bad at the posting part of this...I want you all to know that I have been here every step of the way though. All 63 pages! I have gotten a lot of inspiration from all of you. I seemed to have hit a stalemate on my weight loss. I think it's TOM...By the way, what does it actually stand for again? Because I'm not sure I read that...Is it total outragous misery? Way to go for all the loss in week three! I went up one pound, which I was happy for because as of Friday I was up 7 LBS! Water weight obviously.
    Anyway, I decided to get a new food scale and I'm glad I did. The old one was really off. I put 4 oz (measured on the old one first) on the new digital scale and it was 6.7 oz! I have been eating way too much! I'm hoping that helps with next weeks numbers. Keeo up all the good work!

    Since I weigh every morning, (just only count Wednesdays - my way of trying not to appear too attached to my scale) I figure you are right. I consider myself really half way there (figure since I work for a Defense Contractor, I get to use the "Close enough for Government Work" philosophy)
  • Afternoon Everyone!

    Well I've just gotten done reading an online book I downloaded... all 285 pages of it. Oh it was marvelous! It's called Blood & Tears by Robin Crane Don't worry, it's free so if you click on the link you can read it too! I've kind of taken a break from working on my own novel. You can find more details as to why in my personal blog later.

    I ended up not doing a lot of things last night that I said I was going to do. I came home and got to setting up my pink and black office. (I think Cristina would have a fit over it! :lol) I ended up not painting my fitness room or moving the treadmill and TV since Daniel's back is still in sad repair. By the time everything was finished it was nine and I was not cooking a full meal. Daniel had ordered pizza, which I ate two slices (thank god I had special K for breakfast and lunch). I wanted to start hanging pictures and stuff and really move around while TBL was on but when the pizza got there it was over. I took my shower about 9:30 and I was done for the night.

    So tonight my plan is to clean house and I'm going to hold my self to that. In fact, I'm going to purposely start fixing dinner and throw some laundry in the washer and dryer as soon as I walk through the door. I'm going to get something done tonight since my days at work have been all but useless.

    Which reminds me, we still have no phone line at work, and MCI is putting up one **** of a fight to fix the thing. They want me to pay $180 just for the internal specialist to examine our lines inside the building when we just had a contractor tell us its an exterior problem. So because the majority of my job involves waiting for the phone to ring, I'm bored to tears waiting for MCI to fix this problem. Did I mention we are under a sales tax audit at the same time? I'm used to being in an office alone with all the freedom in the world to yell and what not if I need to. I was on the phone with MCI in front of the auditor trying not to scream and curse at this repair lady on the phone. It's hard to bite my tongue. Probably another reason I'm frazzled.

    Well I need to go update not one but two blogs. I have some more of the novel I'll add... its not much but its something to hold Marianne and Kelly over

  • Well its not like I do something with my house every night. If I did I would have been done long before now!

    I really need to move around in a for real fashion. I weighed in this morning at 197.5 which its been that way since super bowl and I really need to work off these pounds if I want to get to 182.

I am starting The Artist's Way on Monday http://www.theartistsway.com/index.p...4&sub=9&id=190 In addition to the regular things I have to get done. After we did lessons today, I pretty much said, "You're on your own today" and I have been going crazy to get everything in order. Oh, and I am making a breakfast casserole for DH's boss's family; the wife has breast cancer and is going through chemo.

    ANNA...smart child you have there. It's a good thing for them to know these things, especially with having allergies.

    DIONNE...hope you guys are okay after that crazy weather. I saw the news this morning and saw the damage from the tornadoes, crazy.

    ERIN...yes, yes, yes! Slow and steady always win the race! Lord knows I am one of the slowest losers ever! My body was just not responding to anything and now, BAM! I think it woke up, lol. WTG on the pound!

    You know, this is harder than it seems. I am drawing a blank! Maybe I am just putting too much thought into it, lol. I will get back to this one.

    Nothing much going on today. Slept late but I did get my exercise in so feeling good about that. I do have a freakin cold, ugh. So not feeling the greatest. Just doing some laundry and posting, lol.

  • Rhonda--what is it? The time that you feel you should be doing something else?: Too hot and sweaty? The time you would rather be doing something else more relaxing? Fear of failure? Fear of success? Once you figure out why, then you will be able to make the adjustments to make working out not so dreadful anymore.
