Last question, how are we taking the pictures? Because I am doing the same thing but for my reference I am taking them in sports bra and shorts.

You can take pictures in whatever outfit you chose. I'm personally taking mine in jeans and a shirt just because I have so many.
My only suggestion is that when you do take your pictures to keep the outfit consistent so you can personally see changes. It would be kind of pointless to take a photo in normal fitting jeans and a normal fitting shirt then the next week you take a picture in baggy jeans and a loose shirt. You wouldn't see the difference.
This also may apply to the color shirt or pants you chose. (Remember black is more sliming than white.)

Yes, there will be all new threads opened when the challenge starts. More than likely I'll have them up on Saturday or Sunday.

I have a jogging suit that's very... revealing (shape wise lol not skin wise). I will wear that.

Hi chellez,
As far as the weigh-ins, my scale shows weight, for example, as 152.0
Should I round the tenth spot up or down for the purpose of weigh-ins, or use it?
Thanks!

I round it up. .5 or more goes up. .4 or lower leave it alone. That is what I do anyway. I am not so worried about the numbers that I let it bother me. Last weigh in I was at 158.2 ( on my scale at home ) I say 158 and leave it be. I happen to be at the docs office and it was right on the mark. Good enough for me. If it had said 158.5 or at the docs office it was wobbling I would have said 159. For me I get to have that loss that I didn't claim for the next week This is one of the main reasons I go to the doc every two weeks and use their scale. My ticker is based on the docs scale and I really only have the one at home for this challenge and if it is just to bad of weather out to drive to the docs. There are no .'s there. If it is on the mark you claim it if it isn't you don't.

I use the tenths of a pound, the formula for figuring % weightloss still works if you use the .whatever

I use the tenths as well when doing my weigh in calculations.
So if you are 158.5 please don't round up or down. It could cost us a weigh in!

My scale measures in 1/2 pounds, so that would be an excellent reason to go buy that new scale I've been wanting. My luck though it would be off from the scale I used for my starting weight. Perhaps I should try the scales out in the store, find the one with the lowest weight and buy that one?

Mine weighs in a 1/5th of a pound (.2, .4, .6, .8) so I'll round up or down I guess. I'm still looking for a new scale though lol.
What is the formula for % of weight loss?

weight loss divided by starting weight for the week times 100 = % of weight lost
example: 2.2 lbs (weight lost) /162 (weight) x 100 = 1.36%

PLEASE don't round up or down!! Give us your weight as it is - whether your scale measures in tenths, fifths, halves or other fractions.
Chellez isn't kidding when she says those .2lbs and things like that can win/tie/lose a weigh-in so DON'T round them off!
