  • Each team will have their own thread with all of the locations and miles between eash destination in it. As each person gets their miles for each day they post it in their teams thread and it gets subtracted from the distance between cities every few days.

I forgot to mention that if you have a pedometer and it has a function that tells you how many miles you've gone you can use that for this as well.
  • Oh, if we can do out of country, then I vote for London (one of my favorite vacation spots)! Then, it is only a short trip to the rest of Europe!

    Measurements you can use:

20 minutes of continuous exercise = 1 mile
    Pedometers that read milage
    Exercise equipment that read mileage
    Mileage you actually walked/ran

Destinations: (I didn't include international ones because I want us to finish the US part first)

Start in Niagara Falls, ON end in Venice Beach, CA = 7472 miles total

Niagara Falls, ON ---> Statue of Liberty, New York, NY = 307 miles

New York, NY ---> Dorey Park, Allentown, PA = 80 miles

Allentown, PA ---> Hershey, PA = 63 miles

Hershey, PA ---> Colonial Williamsburg, VA = 205 miles

Williamsburg, VA ---> Cape Hatteras, Outer Banks, NC = 153 miles

Outer Banks, NC ---> The Lady & Sons, Savannah, GA = 380 miles

Savannah, GA ---> Disney World, Orlando, FL = 243 miles

Orlando, FL ---> Key West, FL = 279 miles

San Antonio, TX ---> Route 66 Stop, Albequerque, NM = 613 miles

Albequerque, NM ---> Sedona, AZ = 287 miles

Sedona, AZ ---> Grand Canyon, AZ = 88 miles

Grand Canyon, AZ ---> Las Vegas, NV = 169 miles

Las Vegas, NV ---> Venice Beach, Venice, CA = 238 miles

We could do this one of two ways:

Have both teams work on the same route all in one thread or
Have both teams work on the same route but in competition.

Now that everyone's gotten a look at it. Would you rather have both teams work on it together? or have a competition?
  • I would love a challenge baaaaby but majority will rule
  • I kind of like the idea of a competition, but I am also up for doing it together if others want to.
  • Competition sounds more challenging..that's just my thought! Either way this sounds like fun...can't wait to get started.
  • I like competition.
