Michelle, what a load you are carrying and yet you still manage to lose weight. Good for you! It's great to see you posting and letting us know how we can try and support you.

Good Evening Red Team! How was your day? did you get some exercise in? Drink that water?

I had a pretty good day. Still havent worked out but I'm not going to stress about it, this is only day 3 on my new plan and i'm doing fantastic...the exercise will come!

My problem is this: I feel like I'm eating too much. Now I know I'm eating extremely healthy, no sugar, no flour, no bread, no potatoes...just pure clean eating. Feels like I'm eating alot and all the time! You know that mentality we dieters have where we think we've got to eat like birds to lose weight. Well, its weighing on me big time tonight. Maybe what I need to do is just keep track of what I'm eating all day long and do fitday.

Here's what I ate today:

breakfast - 1 C oatmeal w/ 1 tsp splenda and peaches, banana
snack - toasted chickpeas
lunch - 1 C brown rice w/ broccoli, soy sauce, ginger, curry
snack - Fat smash oatmeal cookie, apple
dinner - sweet potato french fries, 2 veggie burger w/ mustard (100 cal each), refried beans, lettuce, tomato, salsa and a dollop of yogurt cheese
snack - pineapple

See....it doesnt get much better than that! It just seems like soooo much! See how this weightloss thing is 90% mental!

I should be out taking a walk but the wind is blowing like crazy and there is something whirling around in it....not good for allergies.

Danielle....dd's trackmeet was great fun. Silly me taped her long jump with the darn lens cap on the whole time!!! GRR!! And when she's running her hurdles I'm screaming the whole time LOL! I couldnt help it she took 4th, she should have had second but she didnt realize she had to go all the way to the finish line LOL...gotta love 8 year olds!

Melissa, Don't sweat the food thing. As long as you aren't overeating and listening to your body. When you start feeling statisfied, stop. Your menu looks good to me. BTW- How were the roasted chickpeas?

Ok I need to make a recommitment. I have been doing fantastic on the exercise end, but my eating is just a bit off. Not really bad, but I've been having a few off plan things here and there. Actually they are in my plan, I just think I should indulge in them less than I have been. I know I am rambling a bit....some of it is a little bit of self talk to get back on track. I've still got 31 pounds left to loose and I'm not going to get them off like this. I also need to start doing some type of weight training. Anyone got any suggestions for some things i can do at home?

Well I am going to hit the sack. I am soo tired and I want to go exercise in the morning.

I'm in a bit of the same boat. So, not that we weren't in it together before, but this week let's REALLY keep each other accountable.
For me that means next week:

-There will be no unplanned chocolate/cake/ cookies!!!!
-I will not let a warm bed or puppy-eyed boyfriend derail my exercise plan
-I will do pushups every day!

I can do these three things for a week.

As far as your exercise question, I've been wondering the same thing. I've been looking into buy a video, because if I don't have someone to follow, and I'm just supposed to count reps myself, I get to about 6 and figure that's close enough to 10 and stop :p ~!
People have said good stuff about the firm, but I haven't tried it before.

Amber I am with you. I think if we get questioned about what we put in our mouths and how much we moved our bodies, we'll come out on top. I've already done better with my water today. I didn't get my exercise in yet, and I say yet because I will do it, but I am more conscious about what I am putting in my mouth as well.
So my goal for the week is to eat on plan and not cheat with the fried stuff here and there. Also I plan to research some strength training stuff.
Talk to you all later. Gotta get my DD ready for preschool.

Morning wonderful red ladies well weigh in is tomarrow for me and i know i havent lost anything this week i all ways do this lose big then eat whatever because i did ...... oh well i woke up this morning with a new attiude i guess getting some zzz's in helped im going to throw in a work out video tonight NO MATTER WHAT and force myself to do it im going to write down everything i eat and just over all re-commit today

Good Afternoon Red team! And what a beautiful day it is!!! I'm still in vacation mode though but such is life! I figure after the week I had last week I need a down week. I do however have to venture out and get my radiator flushed and get some fresh fruit.

We've got track practice tonight and my goal is to do a little walking while its going on. We'll see though, its supposed to be pretty hot out and that is during peak heat, I may just need to wait till after dinner when its cooler.

Love...the roasted chickpeas are REALLY good! I could have eaten the whole can if I'd allowed myself to. I tossed them with a lil salt, pepper and garlic powder.

Have a wonderful Thursday everyone!! Good luck to eveyone who is weighing in tomorrow. I'm thinking about it. I'm also thinking about making saturday the day I have an offplan meal. not sure yet. That may have to wait till after detox which is probably the smartest way to go. Okay...rambling!

Good Morning Red team!!

Looks like its going to be a beautiful day around here! I think I'll eat my breakfast and go mow the lawn. Then its off to wally world to buy new hoses and sprinklers.

I'll be back to check on you all a little later just wanted to make sure I wished you all a FANTASTIC day!! I feel a victory in our midst!! Now we need to up our exercise, we are getting our butts kicked by the blue team! We can do this red team!!

It's the beginning of the weekend, isn't this when the site becomes a ghost town?!:D

I bet we were all out exercising for the travel thread to beat the blue team!

Actually, I went to the gym this morning and was supposed to drop my 4 year old off at the kid's room and exercise, but he wanted to come with me -- so we ran around the track together for 1 hour -- not quite the work out I intended but he was so cute!!! (and a good little runner :) )

I just ate too many pop tarts while I was waiting for my lunch to cook :( but I promise to do better before I weigh in Monday.

:wave: Hello Lovelies!

I'm home on my lunch break from work, so I've only got a minute, but wanted to drop by and check up on all of you. It's awfully quiet around here, where is everyone? Hopefully it's just the gorgeous weather that is keeping you away!

I only contributed 1 pound loss this week. Better than nothing I suppose! Heck, at this rate i'm just glad I didn't gain! :D

Melissa, bet that lawn is looking beautiful! Plus you're getting lots of exercise! How's the Fat Smashing today? You seem really happy with this plan & I couldn't be happier for you!!

Shelby, glad you enjoyed your time at the gym with your son!
