Exclamation I will try moderation.

I completed all the kitchen dishes and pots and pans including the breakfast ones from today. I am not sure where all of them go. I need to deal with arranging my cupboard space better and I need to cull some of my stuff. The diabetes people are coming to pick stuff up on Wednesday and I have a dental hygienist appt on Wednesday which is beside the Value Village where I can drop stuff off. I could make a box of stuff for donating to them as well. The diabetes pick up guy more often than not will only take the bags I put out and not the boxes.

It's also real garbage day on Wednesday morning so I can toss stuff. That makes today and tomorrow really perfect days to declutter some and I feel like it, probably cause I am in active avoidance of doing my artwork, but whatever the reason, I should take advantage.

Although, I could do both. A bit of painting. A bit of decluttering. Why not try the way of moderation vs. all or nothing? Where has that got me all these years?

I will try moderation.

So going forward here's the plan:
for one hour
-declutter one thing from chaise-- done
-declutter one thing from in front of tv
-declutter one thing from big pile -- done

for one hour
-paint

I am checking back in tonight with an update.

Update: I decluttered three boxes, all from the big pile. It took 40min, not 60. I broke two boxes down and kept one plastic tray which went back onto the pile.

I didn't paint. I did place prints into frames. These are destined for the same show my paintings are for so I did move forward with this today too.

The dishes remain done. Counters and surfaces are also clean.

WAY TO GO! onebyone !!

So, you're an artist! Awesome. Can we view any of your work online? It also sounds like you have a showing in the near future! Great job getting a few things ready.

AWESOME! work on the 40 instead of 60 and breaking the boxes down.

FANTASTIC!! that the dishes are still done and the counter tops clean. Take it from me !! I KNOW just what an accomplishment that is! Just remind yourself that "it's beautiful!" It's "freeing!" YOU DESERVE an uncluttered kitchen! GREAT JOB!

My day's goals and what I accomplished:
I'm in this week - Here is my plan for today!

- print papers, meet with DH and sign papers, make copies. (done)
- mail package (done)
- finish personal taxes
- work at church library – cataloging books (190 books done)
- finish dishes
- EAT HEALTHY (done)

Now ... resting. I WILL be to bed at a decent hour tonight!

I paid a stack of "bills" for charities and memberships yesterday. They've been migrating through my Tickler for months, so that's a big accomplishment!

My week was super busy too and this next one will be the same. And the one after that. But the weather is warming up so Mr. Landlord will be in soon so I can't put the clean up off. I need to do a little everyday.
