I like daily weighing. Will paint my old scales with #Hammerite as they are very accurate but a bit rusty.

Don't bother with shop biscuits/cookies. They don't taste very good & their raising agents make my tongue go funny. I understand my body's message.

Response: Yes, I am tense and very tired. Focusing intently on the body would be a better thing to do. Any kind of relaxing is better than something sweet. Go to the loo. Warm drink, warm bath/shower. Gentle walking outside.

The best way to learn about the books by Dr. Judith Beck is to dig into one of them. Here are the pointers to reviews of the two books: Book Reviews.

The other way is to join in our discussion. You don't have to read the book first - but eventually that's where we've each learned the Beck Strategies. There's a short quote each day from one of her books.
