Still battling mother nature and it's worse today. Ugh

Did okay yesterday, could have been better.

B - two eggs, scrambled in coconut oil with 2 slices bacon
L - spicy chicken salad with 4g dressing
D - bacon cheeseburger casserole
S - 5 sugar free reese cups (blah)

Yeah, DH whined about not having options and wanted the sugar free candy so I got it for him and couldn't resist. But I made him hide them away so I won't be tempted anymore. He's lost 12 lbs so I guess they aren't affecting him. I don't trust sugar alcohols and I can't tell if they affected me or not due to TOM.

Eh, I'm a little crabby today. Not feeling very well and work is throwing a goodbye party for a coworker, so now I have to resist cake. Meh.

Since I've been doing atkins I don't crave all the cake/sweet stuff or starchy stuff. How long have you been following atkins?

Started last week LOL. I've got a bit to go before that kicks in, but I do remember not having the cravings at all after a month eating clean. I also remember not being hungry as much.

Last night with the candy was my first slip and thankfully it was only sugar free candy. I made sure all the sweets were consumed and gone before we started this endeavor as that's my biggest weakness. Today I've resisted the cake, which has been helped by it being far away from my desk in another department. I've felt so ick all day, honestly, I'm not even hungry. Skipped lunch and took a nap instead.

I'm not sure if its induction flu, TOM, or just bad allergies, but it needs to go away.

So the hubby has lost 19 lbs now. I'm super happy for him and I also want to strangle him LOL.

Yesterday:
B- two scrambled eggs and bacon
skipped lunch
D - pork loin with faux taters and cabbage

I love being able to season my cabbage with bacon again. I can even eat my grandmas greens. Ah, southern cooking, how I love thee.

Hello Candy!

Not sure if anyone is familiar with Gabrielle Iglesias, aka Fluffy the stand up comedian, but my husband loves him. I had no clue he'd started a low carb diet. He's looking great. Fluffy ain't that fluffy no more!

Hi all I have not had time to post muchh lately but I am doing well and I have stayed on plan. DW and I leave for an extended stay with our son and his family in New York on the 7th. Time is running out quickly and I still have some work to complete on my trailer build. Also numerous tasks around the house before we leave.

On Monday I get a new CPAP machine and I am really looking forward to that. I have used my present one every night since October 2006 and it is getting tired.

I did not weigh in this week.. Had an episode when I had my blood taken . They broke a vessel, and have been back and forth to doctor, as it was so bad, it was something doctor wanted to watch. Will weigh in on Monday for sure.

We mentioned weighing in daily.. I have been doing that forever. It keeps me focused and it is a habit.

Depending what my weigh in is next week, I may add in fruit..

Wishing everyone a great day.

Dee
