Happy Friday!!!! Vacation starts at 5pm tonight!!! Holding at 187 but I think I am going to see progress again. My 16w Just My Size Walmart Jeans are getting very loose in the legs and butt however my apple waist as usual is the last hold out!!!! Walking is easier than ever with almost 40 pounds off!! Challenge for the week - family get together where my sister-in-law only wants to serve pizza and beer. She declined my offer to bring salad!!! Yikes!! I asked my husband if we could barbecue some chicken before we even leave the house so I can have a nice meal before the party as pizza is not a choice for me!!

this yo-yo is driving me nuts!!! Treadmill is suppose to be delivered tomorrow so hopefully I can get my cardio into shape, that is what i really need!

I think it's the fake sugar....I was eating quite a bit with the low carb ice cream, dt pop, dt jello, dt juice paired with my vodka. I started drinking beer and eating meat and veggies and cutting out the fake sugar and I'm down a few pounds this week....

CW 246 Finally can say 60 lbs off... gosh.. this is taking so long (but I am going to have my thyroid checked out as it is (right side) really swollen GW 239 RGW 244 I just might make my RGW just might or WILL! lol smith... I hope you had a downward movement today?! 171??? Simply... I am so sorry if I had not answered your question about the beer diet... IANG (one of our wonderful posters in the 5 lbs off area - not doing Atkins however) eats breakfast and lunch and just has beer for dinner (NO FOOD)... Its a god send when you have a stall as it flushes the water out of you and as long as you do not eat... it works.... I just try it 1 night a week to get rid of the add on water weight... or if I have had enough. It does work... (He likes HOPPY Beers)... But this is not part of Atkins.. so I can't recomend it... I just had gotten to my last straw (but now I might have a physical reason for my stalls... will find out in the future when I get my Thyroid checked).. :) |

Sue....:carrot: yea 60 pounds gone and forever!!! What a feat!!! You must be beaming!! I've been on thyroid meds for 15 years, some say it's harder even with meds to lose. Maybe I don't notice since I've been on them for so long.
ok sue it worked....171 this morning My treadmill delivered yesterday but I had a few beers with the football game so I just played with it, today I've got to get busy with a test run. I may have to start with the c25k program. |
I can jog 3 miles!!! I was so intensely worried I couldn't manage a single mile and I busted out 3 miles!! I am so happy, excited, shocked....unbelievable!!

Hope everyone has a wonderful day... I am back up to 248... but that was cause I had a teaspoon of Iodized salt to see if that would settle my thyroid (I have not had salt On my food (its in all food.. just not iodized) since last fall... so that might be a reason my thyroid is Not Happy) and of course I just felt the water getting soaked up... I did not pee for 12 hours after I ate that salt... SO WILD! LOL |
wasn't really watching closely what I ate and ate a little more than I should have, back up today.....172.5
simply...I was totally amazing yesterday with the treadmill, the muscle that run through the front of my hips are sore, that's it!! I kept telling dh 'guess what?" sue...hope you can get to the doc soon to figure it all out! I hope lulu is having fun on her vacation!! |
Yeah back down to 246.5 Up 2 lbs down 1.5 lbs in 2 days.. Strange Life!
Thank you Smith and I am hoping that your scale is treating you nicer today! I do have a Doctors apt on Friday... instead of my thyroid.. they are thinking its my Caritod artery/gland? Wierd... I just hope whatever it is... that its not a major item and anything to worry about... Have a wonderful day all! |

I'm up to 173, I've been putting some miles on the treadmill so I'm hoping its all muscle. Either that or beer, but it's the miller 64, low carb/cal beer. I added another day to my work week too. I'm such a sucker! |
Well I am back to feeling normal in my neck area after 11 days (well 95%)... so going to cancel the drs apt tomorrow.. but I do have a general apt in September... If this flairs up again.. going to the local Medical clinic asap....
Well I am in my whoosh week FINALLY.. down to 245.. but going out to Bonefish Grill tonight.. gnash teeth as I love the Coconut Shrimp argh... well salad it is... maybe I can get them to just grill shrimp (not on menu).. but get to see some of my Beading/Jewelry making friends I have not seen in 2 months.. :) Have a wonderful day everyone!!! :) |
Sue...yea, swoosh time!! Glad to hear your neck is doing better, hopefully just a passing thing. Have fun tonight, the shrimp sound very good!! I'm sure they can throw some on the grill, but then again, you only live once. Have a great time!

Happy Saturday!!! Just checking in from my bittersweet staycation!!! Dropped my oldest off at college yesterday!! The past 3 weeks have been an emotional train wreck for me but I have stuck to plan as much as possible. Holding at 187 - so not going to get into the 170s for this challenge. I'm ok with that.....glad I have not gone backward. At the pizza/beer party at my sister-in-laws, I did not eat pizza or drink beer!!! Best wishes to everyone on downdowndown!!!

Oh Lulu... here you are dropping off your child as a child who will become an adult (college) and welcomed your sisters new baby earlier this summer. The wheel of life.... I send you hugs as I know it is hard for children to be away for a time to "grow" and learn.... I am sure you taught her well and she knows he is loved!

Happy Sunday!!!! It's my 28th wedding anniversary this morning!! We are going out to breakfast at a local diner and that makes it easy to do Atkins!! Steak at home for dinner tonight!
Ok so my non-scale victory...... I can shop the regular sizes now. While I was taking my daughter back to school shopping, I got busy trying on clothes just to see where I was and I don't need the "woman's" sizes anymore! Regular 18 or 16. I tried on clothes at Kohl's and Old Navy!!! It was exhilarating to say the least. I read an article that mentioned losing 10 percent of your weight and then if you need to lose more re-start your weight loss. So I am making a recommitment to lose the next 27 pounds!! Wannaskipandlaugh I saw your Christmas challenge and it inspired me too!! You will be entering Onederland for the new year!!!! |

Holding at 187...I started using myfitnesspal yesterday to track my carbs and calories....what a reality check for me!!! I like how it tells me where I could be in five weeks if I ate consistently!!! Happy Monday!!

Hi Smith - I had to google and found the video on Amazon. I'm up for the challenge. I have been consistently walking 50 minutes a day - a 2 and 1/2 mile loop and know that I need to start something for when winter comes. I completely wiped out in my own driveway last year and can't afford to do that again! So an indoor workout sounds awesome! I'm sure my own little Jillian will be up for the challenge too but she will probably level up before I can even master the first level!! Holding at 187 but I feel like I am going to see a change this week. Loving tracking food and exercise on myfitnesspal - keeping me true to portions and calories - wish there was more of an Atkins "calculator" because there is no way I could eat all the carbs they allow me and still lose weight!!

I have to take care of my parents house and pets for 2 1/2 weeks and don't get home until 8:00.. eat dinner, then try walking inside the house for at least 1 mile and then bed... CANNOT Wait for this holiday weekend! YAH!!! |
