Fatklr, be strong and try not to weigh yourself but I know I'm a scale addict myself and have been in recovery LOL but on the other hand if you want to have an general idea of how much you gain during aunt flo I can understand...

I agree just see if the diet soda makes you stall if so just cut them out or cut them down maybe to 1 a day..

I weigh my self daily I am just that person cant help it and if I dont I get mad it helps me push my self through the rest of the day. I know its probably not the best thing to do but I like to know the differences each day because on this diet there are differences.

I love weighing myself daily! I have a food journal where I log my commitments to weight loss, my measurements, and what I eat daily. On the pages where I log my daily food I put my weight for that morning. Then I can look back and figure out what caused my weight to go up or down. I understand there are normal fluctuations so I don't get heartbroken when I see a gain.

I use the ketostix almost everyday and I have been in the moderate range every time (woohoo!) I did weigh myself today, and since Monday I have lost another 2 pounds. I'll be purchasing a treadmill to accompany my elliptical trainer so I will be getting some serious exercise in - hopefully the exercise along with staying under 20g of carbs turns me into a fat burning machine!!!

Yes definitely let us know Brooklynn. I'm on day 6 of atkins and I wanted to get a week in and see how I feel and I will try and work out at least 3 times a week doing aerobics... I'm always running around town chasing after trains and bus and 2 days a week I walk 30 mins so 1 hour a week which isn't bad..

I'll do my final weigh in tomorrow afternoon and see the results so far I'm been losing like 1 pound 1 day and maybe like .8 pounds, I have a digital scale LOL

Hey guys my weight lost for week one of Atkins is.......

6.6 pounds woohooooooo

I didn't exercise but I do walk during the week to and from places so about 1 hour a week. I will try and exercise next week at least 3 times.

This is proof why I came back to Atkins it works for me. Some may not find that it doesn't work for them and I say do what works for you best.

WAY TO GO!!!!! I totally agree with you, this seems to be the only thing that works for me at a pace that I don't get discouraged. I'm seriously beginning to believe that I'm allergic to carbs! I feel soooooo much better when I limit my carb intake!

LOL@fatklr I agree with you on that, I maybe allergic to carbs too.. Yes I'm very happy with the loss. Like I say to other Atkins work for me and I'm not going to go out and try and convert people or put down other diets. For me this diet works the best.

I'm hoping week two that I'll keep it up

Hey I was wondering did you weigh yourself after aunt flo and how much did the scale go down? TOM is here for me and I weighed myself, I know which I shouldn't have and it is says I'm .8 heavier. I know it is TOM as I do gain a lot of water. I'm still in ketosis and my metal mouth can confirm that LOL I'll weigh again once TOM has left the building LOL

I did weigh myself after my TOM and I dropped an additional 2lbs. I really need to make a commitment to drink more water...I read in another thread that you should drink half of your weight in ounces per day, so I need to start drinking at least 160 oz. per day. I think that may cause my body to not retain water so much, so I will try that for a week and see what the scale says next Monday.

Well it's good to know that you lost an additional 2 pounds, awesome. I'm not going to weigh until the weekend maybe on saturday. I ate too much salame today and I try and avoid that as it is a bit more processed than like meat, pork or chicken. I'm going to try and exercise tomorrow and again on Friday to see if exercising will help with the scakes going down. but I'll be honest when aunt flo is here all I want to do it rest and sleep LOL
