Smile I'm ready to come back

Hey everyone!

I was pretty active on this forum just over a year ago. I lost about 48 lbs during my time here (146 was my lowest weight), the last 14 lbs during a month where I did Atkins. I stopped focussing on weight loss to instead focus on planning a wedding in only 3 months and then a move to a new city a month after that.

Because we didn't have jobs when we moved, we ended up being very tight on cash and we ended up living off of cheap food like Mr. Noodle. I then got pregnant and was back up to 164 lbs by that point (6 months after stopping Atkins). I gained 60 lbs while pregnant. Well, I gave birth December 30th, we had our 1 year wedding anniversary yesterday, and I'm ready to get back on track!

30 lbs came off right away after having the baby, and ironically I'm at 194 lbs right now which is what I started at when I first joined this forum. I started out last time working out and calorie counting, but I want to start out right this time doing Atkins from the start since that gave me the most success when I had stalled.

I think the hardest part will be planning all my meals while caring for the baby. I have maternity leave for the next year though so I'm hoping I can get back down to 150 or maybe even 140 in that time. I'm also not breastfeeding anymore due to some issues we had.

Look forward to getting to know you all, hope to see some familiar faces again!

WB Stephanie! Come join us in the VDay Challenge - seems to be where the main chatting is going on here on Atkins . . . I've returned recently from a longer hiatus from 3fc/Atkins too and just switched from low carb to straight up Induction. Congrats on Baby!
