Isn't it amazing how the foods allowed on this WOE satisfy and fill you up. It is the only WOE I have found that doesn't leave me hungry. I've really tried to up my water intake as well. On days I do well with my water, I'm never hungry.

I started P90X "lean" back in June. I got through 70 days and quit for a couple weeks in order to get my son off to college. I never did finish the last 20 days to make it to 90. Instead, I started Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred. I haven't been very consistent with that. Maybe 3-4 times/week. I like it because it is only 20 minutes instead of the p90x 1 hour workouts. Not sure where I am going next with my exercise. I just know i need to keep at it.

Hi! Yes, it's amazing and AWESOME what we can eat and how it makes us feel! I haven't felt "empty" since I started! My fiance says he still feels hungry, so either he's not eating enough, or he's just a bottomless pit.

The water is getting easier for me since I got a new water bottle--for some reason, the container the water is in makes a difference to me. Weird. But I always manage to get at least 40-50 ounces in while I'm at work, and maybe another 20 or so at home.

I'm hoping to up the exercise, rather than taking walks and leisurely bike rides--I have a treadmill that hasn't been used enough, so I just need to find a good show on TV and get on that rather than lounge on the couch!

Ok...the weekend went fairly well--went out to eat Saturday and both of us got huge salads. I'm pretty sure the blue cheese dressing was homemade and had sugar in it.. but I guess that's better than eating a side of breadsticks or leaving the croutons on.

Tonight I'm going to bake some chicken drumsticks and throw some Franks Red Hot sauce and butter on 'em....been craving buffalo wings, so why not add a little more meat?

I haven't weighed myself....I don't have a scale. haha ;-) I was hoping to go by how my clothes are fitting, but I think that might take a while, so maybe I should go invest in a nice scale that won't groan when I step on it.

Heck ya, I'd crack up not being able to weigh. I know, it's number obsession, but it pushes me forward when the numbers go up, I crack down.

If you don't want the scale in the house, just find one you can "borrow" every once in awhile. I'd just want to be sure it's the same scale.

If you want to go by "fit," try keeping track of several body measurements like waist, thighs, bust, upper arms, calves... I've found I sometimes drop drastically on body measurements when the scale isn't budging.

Thanks Kel! The first time I did Atkinks, I think I mistakenly allowed the scale to give me permission to "have a cheat every once in a while"....big mistake on my part. For some reason, when I see that I'm making progress, I tend to be tempted to cheat....I need to find another way of rewarding myself for progress!

I will say though, I haven't become bored yet, or haven't gotten the "flu" feeling this time around.....both my fiance and I have committed to the fact that this will be a lifestyle, not a diet that we can hop off once we get to goal.

Ok, the weekend did not go as planned...I ended up cheating with a chiabatta bun at Red Robin. And some french fries. My fiance, on the other hand, did not cheat, even though he allowed me to. haha!

I've decided that the bun and fries did not taste as good as how being thinner will feel, so I've forgotten about it and am moving on with the plan! I made a whole slew of chicken legs to munch on throughout the week, and am going to throw together some cabbage and bacon stir fry tonight to eat for the next couple of days. Breakfast will be my egg bake.

Just back on Squeeker, just get back on. I slip off sometimes for a meal, sometimes for a bite. Don't expect perfect or you will quit. Resuming is not quitting, and you have to quit to fail.

Heck, I ate 4 pieces of pizza for supper one night this week, 3 whoppers (candies), and a peppermint patty. All the rest was on plan. And so the weight loss slowly goes on. It slows me down, but I will never be perfect so it is what it is. I just try to make 100% good food choices, then the few times I don't, I just get back on plan right after. That little tidbit took me a long time to learn.

I'm reminded how difficult it is to get back on, but I'm doing it! Sometimes I get so frustrated because my fiance is doing soooooo well, and he's lost weight, but the scale hasn't budged for me. My pants are just as tight as ever. I'm going to take a couple deep breaths and tell myself that it will happen...I just have to stick with it. So....I'm backing up to the beginning and going to to do a clean induction.

We're house-hunting, which is adding a little extra stress to the mix, so I'm quite surprised that I haven't let go completely and gorged on carby, sugary stuff! I've been following DANDR, but I picked up a newer version at a garage sale last weekend, so I'm going to sit down and read....maybe just reminding myself through the reading will keep me walking the walk, not just talkin' the talk.

Gotta keep going! Things have been so busy, and I've been sick the past week, so I don't think I'm eating as much as I should be. Just an egg here, a piece of meat there....hoping it will get better, because at this time I just don't feel like eating at all. Grr.

Checking in....I've failed yet again! I don't know why I do this to myself! I know Atkins works, and it's a lifestyle change that is quite do-able, but for some reason I keep giving myself permission to eat things I shouldn't! arrgghh! My fiance has been rocking it, being so good, while I've been cheating left and right. I guess the one good thing is that we got an accepted offer on a house, and soon we'll be in the same household--I'm really hoping living together will make this lifestyle easier for me to stick to.

Good Luck with the house and your weight lost. Don't compare yourself to your BF b/c guys seem to lose faster then we do but also you have to give him credit if he has stuck to it. You can do it if you really try, u were so prepared and ready for it that I had to read all your post b/c I thought u were doing good...so keep trying.

Thanks LaCreadora--I actually read my posts from the beginning just now and it's making me feel more confident about this, and I know once we get in the house and all settled, it will be much easier. I have a major problem with giving myself permission to veer off the plan...I need to learn discipline.

Posting to keep my motivation up, even though I haven't been able to completely stick to the plan--I'm going to have a bigger motivator very soon though! We close on the house this week! I'm looking forward to that, and to co-habitation finally! I think this is going to be a BIG help, as my fiance is doing so well....we will be able to set up the workout room and exercise together, and cooking/eating together will make things much easier for me! I can't wait! (Gonna be a busy weekend of moving though! that should count as exercise!)

Finally am comfortable in the house, and have been getting up at 4am to work out during the week (haven't been working out on weekends yet, but hope to start adding in a walk perhaps). As an added incentive, I joined a challenge sponsored by one of our community members and a couple TV stations--I weigh in this afternoon, and I have to lose 10% of my body weight by April 30. I really hope I can do this!

My fiance and I have gotten back on the low-carb train.....and with him supporting me (as well as cooking some wonderful low-carb things for us) it seems much easier, and my health goals do not seem as difficult. I just have to remember ONE DAY AT A TIME!

I have had slow success, mostly because I just keep coming back. doesn't matter if I fall, it matters if I stay down.
I like the Valentine's challenge, I set mine up for days on track. I either record cows or encores. I have 3 cows. But when I see how many encore's I have - I'm not off plan that often. And knowing I'm going to have to list a cow, I don't WANT to go off and have to put in a stupid cow. Kinda giving me some perspective. It's not about perfection, for me, it's becoming about growing into a new lifestyle, sometimes in starts and stops.
