And welcome Amb3 Kel thanks I did great at the party - no cake! I had some sausage and peppers and salad and took a piece of the big hero they had and just threw the bread away and ate the meat and cheese - and drank ice water and a cup of coffee. I think I am stuck weight wise though - I got on the scale today even though my weigh in isn't till Wed and I'm the same as last week - no cheats - but I'm beginning to wonder if I'm eating enough - but I am full enough so can anyone think of how I can increase my calories but be totally on plan. I decided this week I will try to be sure to have breakfast and at least something mid day (even if it is meat rolled up dipped in mayo and mustard) or try to have more on alternating days - it's hard when you aren't hungry isn't it? How long would it take to get on track loss wise if something like wine or protein bar messed you up - I tried having a glass of wine at night last week and the other day I had a protein bar when I was running around and was thinking those could be great to have for those days but maybe not ... so I'm thinking it's either that or I'm not getting enough calories and my body is holding on thinking I am starving it. I'm actually worried that I might not make the challenge and I only have 6ish pounds to go... :o:o |
Kel did they at least offer you a raise since you are so invaluable in your job - that would take some of the sting out...

Down 27lbs! 8 more to go for my Halloween challenge! Can i do it?? I hope. Though I am feeling a bit bloated so I'll weigh in again later and see if there is a difference.

Thanks for the welcome, I am feeling the fatigue from the atkins flu these past 2 days. I read that means my body is going into fat burning mode. I feel so much better doing atkins already. I can not wait in 2 weeks to see how much weight I have dropped. I am going to try and weigh once a week on Mondays.

Amb, induction flu is no fun! You have a great attitude though and soon the flu feeling will be gone and you will have more energy :) I fell off the wagon. I found out today that the company I work for (medical transcription) is being bought out by a large company and the work won't be the same :( I'm now looking for another job. I know better than to stress eat, it's only harming myself. I have to get out of that :p It could have much worse. I ate a brownie. I'm sure I'm out of ketosis. :( Tomorrow is another day and I'll resist temptations. I don't need sugar. It made my stomach heart and really made me want to vomit when I was done so that's a good thing. It goes to show you how bad those foods are for us. *Starting over tomorrow * |

I am feeling a little better today, still tired and feeling slightly sick feeling from not consuming anymore carbs or sugars but otherwise feeling good. Once my period is over I will have more energy again and get back on my leslie sansone walk away the pounds dvds and going for walks outside.

I lost 6lbs in 7 days...only 9 more for the Halloween challenge. I said -15lbs, but I'm close to saying -20. We'll see next Monday when I hit the scale :) How is everyone feeling? |

Thanks! I feel guilty though-I haven't exercised at all. I'm kind of relishing that fact, because I hate to exercise and I know eventually I'm going to have to!

Everyone is doing so great! Me - I've hit a slow patch -- only down .4 this week I don't know if I will make the full 20 but I will be as close as I can be .... I really think I may be eating too little - I tried eating more yesterday and even had half an avocado last night as a snack and today I lost ... The problem is I'm not hungry and I'm not trying to eat small amounts but I think my body is going thru a "what the heck do you think you are doing to me - I'll fight you all the way" so maybe I have to mix it up and try every so often to bring the carbs a little higher ...... What do you all use as a base line for your carbs?
Are we doing a Thanksgiving then a Xmas or New Years Challenge too? :D |
