a lot of people don't realize how some of us have insulin resistance and that is going to kill us with increased risk of diabetes, heart disease, and cancer and we need LC dieting to help control that. I also do some intermittent fasting some days also to help with the insulin resistance. Not all bodies are the same. For someone who doesn't have IR, they can probably be healthy just following a low-calorie diet. Everybody is different. I start in with the IR and then they get quiet cause they don't know much about it. I don't get defensive but just explain that some of us have problems with the way we metabolize foods.
