Hi, I have been in the exact same situation and have discovered that eating more fat really does help. I think (although I am no expert) that eating fat means you burn that fat for energy, then your body is in 'fat burning mode' so it more easily burns body fat.. I'm sure others have a better idea of why it works but that's my theory.
I just add butter or oil to veggies, or make salad dressing with olive oil and garlic, add mayo to salad. Use cream in my coffee. And the odd half an avocado will add fat.
I have had to decrease my calories to 1000-1200 per day, whilst increasing fat. So I'm eating a lot less in volume but am just as satisfied because of all the fat.
Also, I have cut out aspartame (I am a diet coke addict!) and stopped with the processed meats, no more luncheon meats.. Ham etc.
But let's just also remember that this may be a brief stall and if you stay with it for another week, the scales may start moving!
