Ugh, yesterday was awful. Airports and flights with not enough time at the layover to eat, and the food on the plane wasn't buyable without a credit card (which I don't have) so I got some juice and it had 60 CARBS AND 58 GRAMS OF SUGAR for the whole can (or vice versa). I drank it because I needed something...by the time I landed in PA I had a migraine and I was nauseous (not from the juice, I was already getting a headache before I drank it.)

So, yesterday:
breakfast: 2 hashbrown nuggets (2?)
lunch: can of juice (60)...
dinner: a few bites of grilled chicken salad (2) (I didn't want to eat but I knew i had to so the nausea would go away.)
total: 64. I decided I still had to post it even though yesterday was terrible.

Yesterday was my first day of Induction. Here's my food for the day. I included both carb and calorie counts. Comments are most welcome.

carbs calories
3.0 100 supplements
0.0 111 2 chicken filets pan fried in butter
2.3 10 1/2 cup green pepper
2.8 12 1/4 cup onion
0.0 100 1T butter
0.0 270 3 eggs
0.0 0 black pepper
1.0 5 1T salsa
0.0 80 can of crabmeat
0.0 90 2T cannola mayo
2.5 10 3 stalks celery
0.0 0 black pepper
4.5 40 4 oz spring mix salad
0.0 120 1T EVOO
1.5 80 2T grated parmesan
1.5 100 3T cream (total for day's beverages)
0.0 224 4 oz round steak
0.0 50 1/2 T butter

carbs: 19.1
calories: 1441

BTW, after logging this stuff by hand, I finally broke down and created a FitDay account. I will probably be using it from now on. Is there an easy way to copy/paste the table from FitDay?

yoyomama--My eggs list the carbs at one per egg, and a lot of calorie counting websites list them at around 0.7. Eggs do have carbs, so make sure to account for them. That's one thing you need to watch out for. If the carb count is under 1, companies are allowed to legally list the carb count as 0, and they usually do.

brunch: "pizza" and pumpkin custard (9)
snack: jalapeno nachos (2)
dinner: 2 scrambled eggs with jalapenos, sour cream, cheese and hot sauce (2) sloppy joe filling (4)
snack: crystal light (2) peanuts (3)
total: 20

Thanks for the heads-up on the eggs! I just looked at my FitDay entry (I copied entries I made by by hand before switching to FitDay yesterday) and it is listing 1.2 carbs for the eggs (total). Luckily, I ended up using FitDay for my total carbs. But there doesn't seem to be an easy way to copy and paste from FitDay so it would be a pain to post my foods from now on.
