I think Kim gave you great advice, as she usually does.

The other thing to investigate after you deal with getting rid of some of the most likely culprits would be total calories. There are many in the low-carb world today who say that for some people calories can't be unlimited, they need to be managed. 1700 calories on low carb is actually a lot of food, so don't panic about it, but I did some quick math from what you said your daily diet is, and you could just be eating too much. Generally when you eat low carb and eat too many calories you don't gain, but you don't lose either. You can check out Dr Eades who is one of the people today in low carb who does believe that calories play a role (actually almost all MDs writing about low carb today seem to believe this -- and even Atkins put patients who weren't losing on severe restrictions that essentially reduced the calories a lot).

Finally, just to let you know that being a slow loser (even on low carb) you are not alone. I've lost pretty consistently but not quickly.

Thanks everyone. I've cut out the bars and the yogurt and the scale is moving down again. Also staying away from the Atkins site. I'm so dissappointed with what they've done to the program.

Love Veronica's site. Thanks for sharing!
