oh, just wanted to say - if you can't tolerate the texture/taste of extra firm or firm tofu, you could always try the soft stuff first. I find I have been using soft in my stir fry lately, it's less....tofu-y.

Thanks CGH.

I did it with Atkins....but I've stalled here, a few feet from the finish line.

However, due to the massive snow we've had over the past 2 weeks or so, I'm unable to get my car out or even make it down the road....so I've been hiking through the snow and toting back groceries in a backpack. In fact, my legs are aching big-time right at this very moment and I'm praying that this advil kicks in soon.
It's not even the carrying of 30-40 lbs. in a backpack....but more the difficulty of walking through the deep snow in boots....that makes it really strenuous.

And just prior to this, I was getting strenuous exercise by toting all the bags up and down the steps at my brother's place in Annapolis (helping my other brother to clear out his apt.)......and I don't normally do strenuous exercise. I basically walk daily....more a a mild cardio than any sort of muscle-building. But I've been hit with this need to do all this strenuous exercise during the past month, approximately....so not sure if this is factoring in at all....with this current stall.

It seems like when I'm on a metabolic dieting/eating plan...any change in the status quo can alter the rate of weight loss. Logic would tell me that this should not last forever and that I might even have positive results down the road due to the temporary increase in exercise....but for right now, my body is clinging to the 140 lb. level and doesn't seem to want to budge. Ketosis-wise, I've been fine...so something weird is going on, clearly. Just gonna wait it out.

I really wasn't noticing the weight loss until I went and tried-on a smaller size jeans. THEN not only did I notice it, but so did the neighbors (this was about half-way there). Have you tried on the next smaller size yet? That can really show the difference.

Congrats on your success...you're doing great too.
