Default Protein Powder?

Hi all,

Was wondering for those who use protein powder what is the best brand to buy? I saw Whey Gold at the Vitamin Shoppe and then I saw another brand called EnergyFirst (ProEnergy).. Vanilla flavor would work for me..

Not sure what to buy, any suggestions?

I use the elance bodywise protien powder, i love both the choclate and the vanilla! 1 gram sugar(all natural sugar) and 130 cals, 20gram of protien. You cant buy it at stores you have to buy it from a consultant...if you want more info about it, let me know and i can give you the ladys number that i use.

I use Optimum Nutrition Whey (Double Chocolate and French Vanilla are both pretty good.) As far as whey protein goes, the taste is not bad. It's 120 calories per serving w/3 grams of carbs. I usually order it from Vitacost, but I think they sell it for a little cheaper on Netrition, so I might start ordering from them.

Thanks everyone! I think I'm going to buy the Optimum Nutrition Whey in Vanilla (I'm not a chocolate person) from Netrition. I ordered from them before and I'm really happy with them.

I'm avoiding sugars as I am worried that if I start putting sugar in my body I may start to crave it. That would not be good, oh no! My biggest weakness is bread and I know that bread converts into sugar... Diabetes runs in my family (my Dad had Type 2 and now my older brother has Type 2) so that makes me nervous.. Both of them could have avoided this if they would have lost weight, another reason why I am doing Atkins.
