Default Atkins Newbie!

I'm just starting out. Today's day number 1! Wooooooooo!
I was just wondering...
What is a good range of calories to eat while doing the Atkins inductions?

Also is bacon acceptable? And if so like how much a day or week
lol I love bacon. =]

And if anyone could be so kind, and share their favorite Atkins recipe?

Thanks.

I highly recommend reading Dr. Atkins book. It really explains everything in an easy to understand format. Following his plan as written will help you succeed in your weight loss. Good luck!

eta: During the Induction phase you count carbs, not calories. You should eat when you are truly hungry and not worry about calories at this point.

I wholeheartedly agree with this. Most important things....read the book & follow the plan as written. Can't stress that enough.
