Hi! My name is Sherry age 32 married to Gary mom to Evan (16yo) and Hannah (almost 3). I would love to join this forum if you ladies will have me. I work outside the home as an office manager/ x ray tech in a family practice office. Don't have a lot of time for exercise as Evan plays football and we are busy this time of year. I have tried almost every diet out there and find to very hard to stick to any diet as I am an emotional eater.
Sherry, We love, love, love it when new people come and join us. Most of the time we chat in the Week of . . . . thread. A new one is started every Sunday. It is usually stickied at the top of the page. Come join in the fun. and don't worry about trying to keep up with us right at first. We talk alot and often.
If you think emotional eating is bad. Try working in an elementry school where they do lesson plans revolving around dessert (using oreos). HA! Welcome! We all have issues or we wouldn't be here. The fun part about joining a forum is you get to LEARN about how to change your habits for the better and learning is actually FUN! Gasp! Can you believe it?!!
Hi Sherry, welcome to the board!! I'll stand up and admit I'm also an emotional eater...I eat when I'm bored, when I'm stressed (unless I'm so stressed that I stop eating totally), when I'm tired...you name it. I'm also addicted to sweets, they are my downfall. Hope to see you up in the weekly thread!
