Angry I'm done with dieting FOREVER!!! IT SUCKS

Seriously, I've been dieting since I was 15 and what has it gotten me? Nothing, not one damn thing. I've put my body through **** and I have to show for it is the 198 pounds of flab on my body. I'm so angry at myself especially for all the money I've spent on the crappy weight loss programs. So this morning I started on a new healthy lifestyle. I had a good breakfast with fruit and organic bagles and I went for a nice long walk and I feel pretty good. I'm just going to start taking better care of myself and not make myself sick anymore.

I am glad to see that you have made the decision to take care of yourself and indulge in a healthy lifestyle.
I'm with you on the whole diet thing. I try not to use this 4 letter word. I find that when I say I am on a diet I only set myself up to fail. As for the money that I have wasted on diet programs and/or pills, I think if I could have all that money back I would have one heck of a savings.
So since early February I have been eating healthy and excercising and from this change I have lost weight.

Don't give up on yourself, you can do this.

Congratulations, Butterfly, you've made the right choice! "Dieting" doesn't work, but "a healthy diet" (or should I say, "healthy eating plan") is the way to go. You don't need the gimmicks or the pills, just a few sensible lifestyle changes.

butterfly i'm with you
I'm following the pts system for weight watchers but I'm eating all my pts and foods that I want, I know I could be eating more healthful, I'm getting their step by step. You're outlook is good, eat healthy and move, that is the way to go, feeling deprieved on a diet only makes one to binge and that is what we are trying to avoid..
