Yeah, I'm fine! I was just joking about having tomorrow's menu out here and I really don't even have a handle yet today on what I'm going to eat for sure!

Look out, she's on the loose! Kathy, what happened to the cornmeal chicken today? I thought we had something going!

b: wheat puff cereal w/ff milk and splenda

s: carrots w/ff ranch dip
d: burger w/"fried" potatoes, salad with LDR ranch, corn on the cob w/some smart balance (1pt); ww ice cream bar (2 pts)

I need something to go with the black bean soup. Its good, but today I was really hungry mid-afternoon. I need something to go with it....any suggestions (that don't require cooking )?

3 wpas today; 4 total for week

DH got home and asked what was for dinner. I said chicken and he said we have leftovers, why don't we eat them? I said because I planned on having them tomorrow night, and cooking chicken tonight. He said he wanted the pork. Messin' with my plan!!!

So it's tomorrow night and hopefully after tonight and tomorrow's lunch, the pork will be gone. Otherwise it's going in the freezer!

When I eat black bean soup, I doctor it up really good! FF sour cream, cheddar, diced tomatoes, or onions, or sliced avocados. It's barely recognizable as soup when I'm done with it!

the black bean soup sounds good. dh's change menus a lot, don't they? you're lucky he will eat your core stuff, though. my dh does, too. my ex-dh used to sabotage me, though. (maybe that's why he's ex now.)

Sandra, are you serious? If I were to put doorknobs and paper towels on a plate and give it to my DH, he would eat it. I've never seen anyone as NOT picky as him. The only foods he won't touch are eggs, mayo, and alfredo sauce. And if I combine 3-4 things, put cheese on top and call it a casserole, he will definitely eat it. Gotta love a low maintenance eater!

Gosh Kathy, that'd be nice! My dh won't eat most fruits or veggies, and doesn't like whole wheat pasta. However, he usually chokes down most everything I cook, but complaining loudly the whole time. What a great example for the kids, huh? They already ask, "Why doesn't Daddy have any green beans?" Some day they're going to find out he's a veggie-phobe.

LOL, Angela! I think mine is just grateful that he gets to sit in the chair and have someone bring his plate to him, then pick it up after he eats. He doesn't have to move an inch. We don't eat at the table since it's just us now ... the girls are usually at work or gone somewhere.

And my DH actually liked it when I made the WW spaghetti, but it's probably because I loaded it down with olive oil and fresh garlic.

Okay, I think we just hijacked the menu thread! Oh well!

Well Kathy I guess that I can forgive your menu deviation.
The menu thread has never been this long!
