Okay I just was curious as to what was your average weight loss in the first 2 weeks of phase 1? I know the book says like 8-13 but I was wondering about people on here.

I lost I think about 6pounds. Most do not lose that much (13#'s) but some do. I think alot of it depends on what your eating habits were before you started SBD.
I lost 7 on Phase I. A lot depends on how much you need to lose, your age, your body, whether you've been dieting before, etc.
Remember this is a lifestyle change and don't rush it!
I had to do phase I twice, thanks to too much Christmas cheer. But I lost eight pounds both times. Also, I would lose the first seven pounds in the first week, then only one on the second...
I'm going to skew the results...but remember, I was really overweight (326 lbs.), had not dieted AT ALL for over three years, and did not cheat at all during Phase 2. I lost 26 pounds.
I lost about 4 pounds, but I only have a few more pounds to lose to reach goal. My friend and coworker is doing South Beach too and she has lost 14 pounds in two weeks. WAHOO!!!!
