Default New To Sbd; New To 3fc

Hi Everyone/anyone,

I Started Sbd After Watching A Few Thinner Girls, At Work, Lose 25lbs, Somewhat Easily. I Am Much Heavier Than They Were To Start. However, I Started 2/7 And Am Now Down 11 Lbs.

I Find It Difficult To Stick With It At Times, Dh Not Doing It. He Prepares Most Of The Dinners; He Is Helpful, However, Still Feels "not Easy".

Any Suggestions?

Welcome to 3FatChicks!
Oh, I wish I had suggestions for you... I know how difficult it is to get the whole family "on board" when you're trying to lose weight.
Do you ever sit down as a couple to choose recipes? Sometimes a little "conference" can help things go more smoothly.
Good luck!!

Welcome to The Beach. Maybe your DH could check out the recipes in this forum.

By the way, to get your ticker working you need to recreate it using the set of code that has URL in it instead of LINK. If you just change LINK to URL in your signature, it may work. Holler if you need help and I'll fix it for you.

Welcome to the Beach! There are lots of good recipes in the recipe forum. And we'll be glad to help if you have any specific questions. I wish I could get my DH to cook dinner but I'm afraid we'd be eating Hamburger Helper if I let him

Welcome to the beach & the chicks

First of all big congrats for the 11 lb weight loss Your lucky that your DH cooks. Its not that hard, just follow the foods list of what you can have on Phase1 and don't touch the Avoids.

Have a nice day Hugs BB

Default Another new south beacher

I also just joined... I started SB 2 weeks ago and at the end of phase one... it hasn't been too difficut, until I started feeling a little too tired without my carbs. I started adding some All Bran today any other suggestions?I'm excited to loose the first 6 pounds!!!

jpleonard - The "easiest" way for me is to prep my foods in the beginning of the week. I decieded what I want to eat, make the grocery list & cook or prep on my day off. My boyfriend helps by throwing stuff together - for example I'll cut up the veggies for turkey chili & ground the meat & he just throws it together . This helps me, maybe it will help you. Good luck.
