Default Should I do it Anyway?

I am so very happy with SBD! I started 2 weeks ago today and I have lost 14 pounds! Fantastico!

My question is, I have absolutely no desire for bread, pasta, rice, etc. Should I eat it anyway or just keep, keeping on with phase 1 a little longer? What do you guys think?

Also, how do you get that cool little scale thing on the bottom of your posts?

Thanks,
Sunny

Good for you! You must have stuck right to the Plan!

Please move on to Phase II because it's time to incorporate fruits and whole grains into your diet. You will continue to lose but more slowly. Check out the FAW Phase II hints and also http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/showthread.php?t=52754

Sunny, Ruth and Hunny are right...you need to add in the good carbs. Just a little at a time at first until you find out what works for you, but you do need them to be healthy and to keep losing. Check out the recipe forum for lots of great ideas!

Thank you all for your kind words and for your informed advice. I have never felt more free on any diet. I don't even like calling it a diet, it is more of a life change. I already feel so much more confident and in charge of my life by making this choice to be healthy.

I know I must sound gushy, but I really do get emotional about this.

Hi Hunny Bee

Big Congrats on your 14 lb. weight loss

I won't stay on Phase 1 too long, as it tends to get boreing after a few weeks. I went to Phase 2 but only added 1 fruit carb & 1 grain carb per day ,as I was afraid of gaining, but I landing only in a bad stall. You have to add back carbs slowly to Phase 2 but not ans slowly as I did.Dr. A. say to add 1 carb each week on Phase 2. Hope that Helps

Hugs BB
