Jenicra: Well, I am loving it! I can't believe it's been over a year since I've stepped foot in that place, but it's nice to be back, thanks for asking. Anything new w/ you?
I feel very awake today. I got up early in the a.m. drove to the gym, got in a nice workout, and went home, got dressed, and was at work EARLY!!! Now, how did that happen??? Funny!!! I feel soo energized, I forgot this feeling, that high. The feeling that you get when your proud of yourself, and you feel good after a nice workout. You know what I mean?? Can't wait to workout again tomm.
workout in the morning, spill, what are you crazy??? lol, i could never do it.
I think that I am in a "plateau." I thought starting to work out again would jump start things, but no. I am still at 150. And I don't think 2 weeks is enough time to have gained any muscle. I know that I don't eat perfectly, but I am definitely creating the deficit I need to lose. So why I am not?? There isn't anything I can except keep working out and eating right. I am going to try to amp up my cardio some, maybe that will help. I just want to break into the 140's!!! ahhhhhhhh! at least I am in good spirits about it, right?
Hey Tanny, I might have your answer... Yesterady, while online at MSN they had a headline in their health news. How celebs workout. Duh, I hate those thngs, because they are not realistic. One of the trainers for Jessica Beil in the upcoming Blade 3 movie, trained her. He made her eat something maybe a salad, maybe a protein bar, or half a wrap every couple of hours. Eating small portions every couple of hours will speed up your metabolism. She supposevley lost eighteen pounds from doing these small meals with excercise. It would defn. take some pllanning to do this, I'll try and find the story, and link it here for you, it is an interesting read at the least.
I also remember Oprah talking about plateaus and its like you have to do something diff. put your body in a little bit of a shock, it may be that you are at your ideal weight, and also, you just started working out with weights at the gym, so you may see results more after a couple of weeks more...
I don't know just throwing around some thoughts at ya. Your doing good girl!
