Talking Week 6 of August 1 challenge

Good morning all!

We are well into our challenge now with August 1 coming up fast!

We can start off by weighing in today or whichever day is more convenient for you

Did anyone make any changes to their lifestyle last week?

How are you doing in the exercise department?

Anything that you need to improve or need some help with?

Have a great day everyone!

Well, let's see.

July 7/04 weight: 177.6
Current weight: 173.8
My August mini goal: 172 (looking good)
I've been sticking to my 8+ glasses of water. I ate out 3 nights in a row (2 at a restaurant and 1 over at a friend's) and still lost weight. Whooo hooo. I've been making much, much better choices at the restaurants and skipping dessert (which for anyone who knows me knows how hard that is). I think my motivation is staying high because I'm seeing results and I'm really committed

As for my reward for reaching that goal: Smaller clothes - maybe pants - Well, I actually bought pants on Saturday in a SIZE 14......that's right folks. I haven't seen that size (execpt in the stores) for years.

Stay motivated friends!

Way to go Teufelchen! That is terrific! Isn't fitting into a smaller size the best feeling in the world? Someone gave me pants and I was trying them on without looking at the tags until after I took them off... I almost cried when I realized I had fit into a size 12 pair of jeans from Abercrombie & Finch of all places... when I was in High School I remember thinking how it wasnot fair that their stuff ran so small! It totally renews your motivation to see your clothing shrinking!

Jenn, i love your weights too. really good idea.

well the home scale said 180 this morning, the icky work scale that was so much higher is going down and getting closer to home scale,so either way i am losing. my clothes are getting looser.
and i have been so busy that i haven't the time to focus on food so much. which is really good for my addiction. also realized the other day that i haven't snuck food, or midnight munchied in a looong time.

Well I managed to stick to my plan at the BBQ I went to yesterday! And I am very proud of myself because at near the end of the evening the host brought out 2 boxes of assorted chocolate bars and m&ms for everyone and I did not have any althoug everyone around me was chowing down on chocolate - it was sooooo hard but I managed.

mauvaisroux, very good work - sticking to your plan this weekend! Even with chocolate there! (*ouch*)
And congratulations on being 2lbs away from your goal!
I’m sort of new here and don’t know these things, so I’ll just ask: have you lost a lot, and how long have you been loosing?
Anyway – must feel good to be so close to your goal! Good luck on the last two!!!

I have gone up and down for the last 2 years but I decided to get serious about it last June. I lost some then gained back by Christmas 2003. My weight was up to 180 again and now I am back down to 160. My highest weight was 185lbs so In total I have lost 25lbs since I started.

My WW goal was set by my leader at 158 lbs but I think I would like to get down to 155 as my final goal.
