Hope your all off to a good weekend. Today I have some errands to run so I must be out of the house by 9 am (because the rug guy is coming to tighten the rugs lol ) DD needs sneakers so off we go.........

We went out to eat last night. Wasn't OP at ALL. Today I plan on starting from scratch. I need to get back OP big time!! So I passed up the cake and other goodies at the shower and ate cheese and sausage and veggies. WI was a disappointment in a way. After all I've been eating I knew I'd gain weight. The good thing is I finally hit the "30 pound loss" mark". I'm happy with that!!! So it's onward to gettin back on track!!! Hope you all have a great weekend (oh, the garage sale was a bust, hardly anyone showed up).

Hi Leenie, Brenda! Good on the 30 lbs, Brenda.

I had my first Atkins wrap from subway today. Not too bad, though they kind of skimped on the cheese and sauce, but I'll live. It's 11g up here in Canada, so I'm probably going to be around 25g or so for the day, but I'm not overly worried about that.

It's pretty windy out there, but at least that makes it feel a bit cooler. The last couple days I've been going for my walks in the mornings, to fight the humidity, which seems to be a good thing to do.

No real plans for tomorrow, except calling my Dad.

Oh, I got my mail-in ballot for our election on Friday. I'll send it in Monday probably. It's pretty interesting because no one is sure who's going to win, and many suspect that it will be a minority government (assuming the Governor General allows the minority government to stand and doesn't call for a re-election). I decided that I wanted to vote within my home district in Ontario as opposed to here in Montreal. My vote will be more important in Ontario, I figure, as Ontario's votes are often the deciding factor in the federal elections.

I hope all your dad's and Dh's have a happy fathers day today!!! We've got to go to DH's parents house, then to my parents house. For DH and myself it's back on induction to get ourselves back on track. I'm quite impressed w/my DH for sticking with Atkins with me. I thought for sure he'd give in due to no bread (he loves his sandwiches). I have bought some lowcarb bread but haven't tried it yet. I threw it in the freezer (and promptly forgot about it til this morning ). Shows how important bread was to me. I'm off to throw some clothes in the washer and then we're outta here. You all have a great day/weekend!!

Hi gang!

Brenda WTG on the 30 pounds!!

Hope all had a fun Father's day.. whether you were celebrating or not! We didnt! DH got on a plane this morning for Jacksonville, FL (Again) and wont be back until July 2!!! UGH!

But the good news is I am back on track with exercise and eating. i went shopping today and tossed all the Non-Atkins Friendly stuff out of my house. I am following the Weekly menu from the Atkins Cookbook I have for Induction. This way, by the time DH gets back from FL, I will be off induction and onto the OWL!

OK.. I am beat, but I wanted to check in. My family was here the week before last, and last week was the first week of summer vacation.. so I didnt get on line much! But I plan to be back with a vengence now!
