Default Lentils

On Phase One do we need to restrict the amount of lentils we eat? I have a fabby recipe for dal which is really filling and satisfying. I have left the book at my friend's house, so cant check, but I wanted to make it tonight. Surely lentils are starchy and thus tricky? The GI is not very high for them though.

Clovey, I think you're allowed 1/2 cup as one serving.
Can anyone confirm that?

Do I have to have any "special talents" to understand how to post a recipe?? If not, I will post my Sausage Stew (with lentils and cabbage). It's one that I sort of revised to be SB friendly.

Lord, no, Sharon. Post it here if you like, and we'll move it to the appropriate spot. But post it soon, please, because I'm planning dinner. For once.

Talking

Ruth....
Call the dogs off, I posted the lentil recipe!!!
I substituted Chicken instead of the sausage (even though I make this recipe with Healthy Choice Smoked Sausage) because I thought it would be more appropriate for SB Phase 1.

Now make the darn stuff, Ellis!!!

Clovey, I like your lentil recipe, too! Are you still there after Ruth's puppy attack!
Bye all....
Sharon
P.S. I made this stew recipe last night, and DH and i loved it! It's a "keeper."

Sorry! I found it. It wasn't showing up as a new post for me.
Thanks, Sharon! It looks great!

Clovey, I'm British, but it makes me crazy when you say, "tea".
