  • On Phase One do we need to restrict the amount of lentils we eat? I have a fabby recipe for dal which is really filling and satisfying. I have left the book at my friend's house, so cant check, but I wanted to make it tonight. Surely lentils are starchy and thus tricky? The GI is not very high for them though.
  • Clovey, I think you're allowed 1/2 cup as one serving.
    Can anyone confirm that?
  • OK......

    Lentils:
    1/2 cup= 1 serving
    carbs=20
    sugar=2
    fat=0

    Call the dogs off, I posted the lentil recipe!!!
    I substituted Chicken instead of the sausage (even though I make this recipe with Healthy Choice Smoked Sausage) because I thought it would be more appropriate for SB Phase 1.

    Now make the darn stuff, Ellis!!!

    Clovey, I like your lentil recipe, too! Are you still there after Ruth's puppy attack!
    Bye all....
    Sharon

    Clovey, I'm British, but it makes me crazy when you say, "tea".
