Even though I belong to a gym, I still like to vary my routine with outside-of-the-gym activity. I enjoy walking/jogging with my dog (listening to music makes me try harder and move faster). I will also ride my bike occasionally when we go camping. I have an exercise ball at home and I will sometimes do light upper body strength training and abs with that. Push-ups are great for arms/chest/back. I used to really get into exercise videos, but I find that I lack motivation when I do them at home. I need an instructor-let environment to keep me going. When I didn't belong to a gym, I went to a local aerobics class twice a week and that really broke up the walking schedule nicely.
