Default Thanksgiving at the Beach DAILY Monday







I am sitting here thinking about my lifes blessings and all of you come to mind.
I am truly blessed.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING



In Canada, Thanksgiving is celebrated on the second Monday in October. Unlike the American tradition of remembering Pilgrims and settling in the New World, Canadians give thanks for a successful harvest.

We Canadians SHOULD be more grateful to our (well, not mine... I'm a newbie) ancestors for settling this land. I don't know how they did it... such misery. Clearing land, building their own (drafty) homes, growing all their food. shudder. I probably would have thrown myself into a fast-moving river.

Thank you. Unlike Ellis, my folks have been here a long time and did all the pioneer stuff. Nobody threw themselves into a river as far as I know! Some threw themselves into vats of Scotch.
It's a great country and I love it! Newbies are welcome.
