Thumbs up April Exercise Challenge

No foolin' we're off on an April adventure of good exercise!

State your exercise goal and track it throughout the month with this supportive group of fellow exercisers. We'll compile our workout goals into a list. As each goal is met during the month, it gets turned RED in celebration.

March was a washout... mother in the hospital for a week, my unplanned dental surgery...

Fresh start in April!

My goal will be 650 minutes of intentional exercise.

1April: 40 min walk; 55 min road bike (gonna rain tomorrow; had to do it today!)
6April: 30 min walk
(wonder if I can count the two hours I spent unloading and carrying books and bookcases out of the bedroom that got flooded from a plugged air conditioner pipe and down the hall to the living room?)
14April: 40 min walk
16April: 40 min walk
17April: 45 min exercise bike
22April: 55 min walk (5K plus warmup)
23April: 20 min am walk; 40 min pm walk
27April: 60 min pm walk
29April: 20 min walk; 50 min walk



total minutes: 495

Joining again, bobbing and weaving and ducking with what life throws in our way..had cataract surgery 3 days ago and have been told by surgeon I cannot do my usual cardio with weights...but something like a treadmill or elliptical or walking is fine. I don't have equipment..but I have youtube and ankle weights and one pound hand weights..so walking in place is what I will be doing. SO VERY BORING but here I go. And I'm decreasing my goal, as i have the second eye surgery mid-month

April goal - Walking workouts, 600 minutes.

April 01 - 50 min. Leslie Sansone-type walking; 50 min.

I didn't quite meet my March goal of 1300 minutes and April is shorter, so I'm going for 1200 minutes:

1: 40 walk; 40/1200

Oo, I haven't joined in before, please may I now?

My only exercise currently (but have plans for from June onwards) is walking. So I'll pledge for 300,000 steps.

Hi

It is so nice to see you all! I wish everyone the utmost success on their programs. I have been MIA the first week, ok so I had a cold but I have no excuse now and I really need to hold myself accountable! I will not give up! That is just not an option!

We have 3 weeks left, My goal for the remainder of this month is to do my LS tape (or any similar tape) 9x, my strength training (weights) 9x, and yes I must add my calisthenics again (boring to me, lol) 9x......so there goes! NO minutes this time! My exercise schedule will consist of my usual walking, tapes, strength training, WII step aerobic, and this month I am adding raking as well. I am not going by minutes this month but to achieve the above is my goal which I feel is best for me. Of course, keeping up with my steps (which I have been horrible with this past week) is also a goal of mine but that is secondary and alwaysssssss a goal!

I started moving my tail again and decided I best come in and start posting my schedule.

Rosinate It is great to see you here and oh my gosh of course! The more of us the merrier. I hope that things are going wonderful for you and you had a nice weekend....hope you all did.
