Default Hair Loss?

Hello!
I'm not sure if this is the right place for this post, but I'll just go ahead. I've recently hit the 50 pounds down in my 130-140 pound weight loss goal (yay!). I started January 1, and have been losing gradually. But... in the past few weeks, my hair has been falling out, and now it's to the point where you can see my scalp and I feel like I'm going bald. I have thin, fine hair to begin with and while I was feeling good about my weight loss, now I feel discouraged - like if I keep this up I'll go bald. Any experience with this?

Make sure you're eating enough protein and calcium. Multi-vitamin...with lots of B vitamins. (You'll pee off whatever B-vits you don't need.)

Become friends with dry shampoo. The less you're washing the less you're blowing it dry and styling it and damaging it. If you're bleaching it, make sure your salon is using Olaplex--it's $40 more, but it's worth it to keep breakage at a minimum.

Reality is that weight loss, surgery, or anything else that shocks the system will impact your hair growth. Worst case, you get to try a cute new short cut (looks thicker) while your body adjusts to the new normal.
