Make 2016 Your Goal Year! Challenge 1/8: New Years Day to Valentine's Day
Picking up from last years challenges posted by SmallSteps ... a little late but here you go ...
This is Challenge 1 of our 2016 Goal Year Challenge.
Challenge #1 will be approximately 7 weeks according to when your weigh in day is and will cover New Years Day until Valentine's Day. Everyone is welcome - you don't need to have been a part of the previous challenge to participate.
Challenge 1: New Years Day to Valentine’s Day (January 1st to February 14th)
Challenge 2: Valentine’s Day until April Fools Day (February 14th to April 1st)
Challenge 3: April Fools Day until Mother's Day (April 1st to May 10th)
Challenge 4: Mother's Day until Independence Day (May 10th to July 4th)
Challenge 5: Independence Day to Labor Day (July 4th to September 7th)
Challenge 6: Labor Day to Columbus Day (September 7th to October 12th)
Challenge 7: Columbus Day until Thanksgiving Day (October 12th to November 26th)
Challenge 8: Thanksgiving Day to New Years Eve (November 26th to December 31st)
Weigh in for challenges will be once a week. Copy and paste this format or create your own, edit dates to match your weekly weigh in day. You'll be coming back each week to update your progress (find the entry and click edit). And this thread will be available for us to chat about the challenge, overcome struggles and celebrate successes.
I will post a new thread for each new challenge as they approach. This means the thread will not get super long by end of the year and anyone can jump in at any point in the year!
Alright, I'm in. Since I didn't begin until the 4th, I lost a few days. I'm challenging myself to 15 pds by Valentine's Day. Only because I will get that initial "big" drop

1/1. 198.8
1/9. 196.6 (-2.2)
1/16. 195 (-3.8)
1/23. 194.8 (-4) I didn't have a very good week. But Happy with a weight loss.
1/29. 195.8 (-3) I didn't weigh in on 1/30/16 so used Friday's weigh in.
2/6. 196.6 (-2.2) I have been off plan but still working out.
2/13. 196.6 (- 2.2) Another stressful week. But at least I got back to last weeks weight.
2/14.
Total Weight Loss: - 2.2 LBS

Joined the gym yesterday. First time ever joining a gym and the first time inside a gym as an adult. Looking forward to the accountability of the group as well as the encouragement!

One challenge I have this month is to get moving in some way, and stop being so sedentary. Taking the stairs at work is one thing I can do to add extra movement.
