In a few more days, it's a New Year!!!
Some of us are making resolutions, as usual, to take off some weight....
Some of us are thrilled to have already lost some pounds in 2015 and earlier, and happy to be on track to continue into the new year....
Some of us have a few 'holiday gains' to off load as we get back on track with sensible, healthy eating habits that make maintenance work to keep us in that
happy weight range....
And if you are like me, you did not phase off properly as you approached goal, or you have become lax about maintenance and have picked up more than a few of the very pounds you worked hard to lose just a year ago...
Whatever your reasons - maybe a challenge will be a good tool for you. If so, please come join me and other fellow IPeeps in a challenge to lose 25 lbs by Spring. Twelve weeks until March 19, the last Saturday before the official date that Spring begins in 2016.
View the tracking sheet here - and if you want to join the challenge, PM (private message) me here on 3FC or use the request for access feature in google sheets - it will send me an email on my gmail account - and I will give you edit rights to the sheet. Participating means that you can add your 3FC screen name on the next available row of the spreadsheet, specify your start weight and goal weight, and then in the coming weeks, post your WI in the appropriate column. To join, you do need to share an email address with me, and it may help if you have gmail... but I don't think that is a requirement.
By the way, this sheet for challenges was offered by
Lisa32989 several times since I joined the IP subforum in 2014. I have just copied the sheet and updated the dates - could not have done it without the work done previously by Lisa -- I hope we'll see more of her in 2016. We have missed her in recent months. In the meantime you will find lots of useful info that Lisa has shared on how to succeed with IP.
I should also mention that it was
canadjineh who brought up the topic of Lisa's past challenges and gave me the idea to start this. YAY - thanks, Liana!!
So - please join this challenge to kick-start the new year for a new you with new losses and good healthy habits! We all do better when we work together and support one another!!!
