Default Alternative protein powder?

Please no bashing! I did medifast before and it was amazing and I lost like 35 pounds in 2 months. However I can't afford it right now. Is there a different protein powder i could use in place? I was thinking body logix from shoppers drug mart (Canada)

Natures Best Isopure whey protein powder. Buy online, Amazon or other vitamin store. Very high quality, decent taste. I like the Dutch Cholate. A friend likes the vanilla.

I love Chocolite Peanut Butter Protein Shake powder. Available on Amazon and nutrition sites like Diet Direct for around $15-20. Seems to be an equivalent substitute for Medifast. You would get about 15 eight-ounce shakes from one package. I don't know if this is a good deal as far as protein powders go, since I have just started the meal replacement lifestyle with Medifast. But I do know that it's considerably less than Medifast since they just upped all their prices by $1.00 per 7-serving package.

Default 100% Whey (Cryosport) from Costco as a substitute for Medifast?

Hi there,

I too am looking to stretch out my Medifast packets, and I remembered today that I had a lot left over in a bag of 100% whey that I bought last year as an experimental substitute for ********** when I was doing the 21 Day Fit thing.

I was just reading about the protein to carb ratio thing with Medifast, and when I look over the Nutrition Facts on the 100% Whey, it is clear that there's 27g of protein, and 3 grams of Carbs, with 2.5 grams of fat (from the whey instead of the soy from Medifast).

Can someone help me to decide if this is a good substitute for a chocolate flavored packet of Medifast?

Thanks all!

I'm also looking for a shake I can start mixing into my daily routine. It is just too expensive to buy a second round of medifast so I'm looking for as many options to fake it as possible! Tried the Vega vegan protein shakes and I couldn't even force myself to drink them. Any other suggestion for good tasting protein shakes with low cal/low carbs?
