LOL. I've been weight/power training for the last 2 years.
Helps me with my job.
However, I was getting bored.
So, I decided to join in on the local gym's get fit/stay fit challenge.
Did a 5k a few weeks ago. 45 mins. 30 mph winds and cold.
Did a 5 mile race today. I did have the option of only doing 2 miles but decided to suck it up and do all 5.
I have not trained much for this, the weather has been crappy, and we've been busy beyond belief at work.
But anyway, I was the only woman that did the 5! So, I was first as women go, but was the last to come in!
It's all good! 5 miles in 1 hour and 6 minutes!
I'll do better next time!
