Default from obese to obsess

hi there..

let me intro myself, I'm Kristina, 24 years old. I start my diet 2 years ago, slow and yo-yoing, i only lose around 40lbs in total, and never gain back more than 5lbs (in full control not to gain too much and reduce it again after sometime), i still need to lose another 22-25lbs, i'm pretty short so i guess its ok to be 105-108lbs. Right now I'm around 130 lbs and decide that this is my time to completely being fit and have a good shape.

now, I just wanna know IF u guys being so obsess about ur weight loss journey. as I jump on scale 10-15times a day, and I couldnt eat big portion anymore it makes me sick, but i eat every 2 hours and in total not less than 1200cal,

i wonder if I'm doing fine and not lead myself into trouble?

You sound like you're doing good, make sure you exercise and continue to eat right. Try not to focus on the number on the scale either.

1200 calories is fine!

I know it sounds crazy, but I think to be successful at weight loss you have to get a little obsessed about it. It requires a lot of planning. I make meals in advance, schedule time for exercise, and I even have to think about the food/drinks that I'll have to deal with at social events. It requires a lot, but overall I think having a lot of structure makes it a lot easier.

welcome!

well, i would say it's better not to obsess, but i don't think that's possible haha...

just one thing though, don't weigh yourself 15 times a day!!! weight fluctuates throughout the day... it's just gonna make you miserable! just weigh yourself once, at the same time everyday. my advice is in the morning when you wake up, naked or in your pj's definitely the lowest weight you would see all day anyways.

Welcome and wishing you well on your journey!

I agree that you have to be somewhat obsess, as long as you don't start getting to obsessive and develop any unhealthy habits. I know from experience that I have the tendency to develop weird unhealthy habits if I don't let myself relax if I mess up and go off plan.
